4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
"We were all feeling a bit shagged and..." To quote its namesake. Deeeelicious! Had it out of a bomber, pours a dark coffee like hue with a dark beige heavy head, and fishnet lacing. Taste is as smooth as silk, with a sweet malt kicker!

4.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Jet black and oily with a razor thin head that vanishes instantly. The aroma is oddly sugary to go along with a huge dose of coffee and a touch of pine. Citrusy hops provide the backbone to the flavor of this beer while coffee, chocolate and vanilla (in that order) dance around the palate. Silky, smooth and a little oily, this beer somehow manages to maintain a near-perfect balance. A beer this big and dark would typically be much sweeter, but the hops are just enough to provide a stellar balance. As usual, another outstanding beer from FFF.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
650 ml bottle courtesy of StFun. Thanks. Pours black with a small beige head that soon fades away to a fine film. The aroma exhibits chocolates and a touch of burnt grains. The taste, like the aroma, features chocolates, well roasted grains, vanilla, cream and perhaps a hint of coffee. The palate was full and smooth with soft carbonation. Finished long and a bit sweet. Overall: Very tasty stuff.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours pitch black with a finger of creamy, chocolate head. Very thick. Aroma is a huge mix. A lot of vanilla and sweet lactose with some roasted malt, caramel and chocolate. The mouth is very similar. Creamy chocolate with a lot of mellow roast and caramel. The lactose sugars are present but blend with the roast to give a very coffee like flavor. Pretty thick and viscous on the tongue. A really good beer.

Not quite the Kubrick of beers, but a very good and very sweet beer. Wouldn’t want more than one of these though.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle courtesy of Kermis. Poured a deep mahogany with a thin tan head. The aroma is rich liqourice. The flavour is medium rich bitter oily, with liqourice and roasted malt. Not particularly complex but very satisfying.
