Clear dark brown color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light heavy malty, chocolate, cacao, coconut. Flavor is light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100111]

22 fl oz bottle, courtesy of KimJohansen. Pours dark brown to black with a fully gone head. Aroma is dark malty and hardroasted. Sweet malty, hardroasted, light smoked to ashtray-ish. Bitter and dry to acidic roasted. Dark malty along with a note of chocolate into the far finish.

Medium body, low in carbonation, sweet hard roasted malts, vanilla and licorice. Rather subdued bitterness. Pleasant one. 110110

Black color; creamy head. Nice chocolate aroma, milky, with some cocoa powder. Good body, chocolate and caramel flavor, the milk and creamy presence is even clearer. Balanced, peculiar. Pleasant.

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2010 Bottle at home ... black .... thick short lived tan head down to tan lacing ... soft milk suger roast chocolate nose ... good body ... light bitterness ... soft roast ... again quite a lot of chocolate ... soft gentle ... very pleasant... little nutty in finsish 3.9... musa ... deep black ... sweet milky roast malt ... huge chocolate ... little coffee .. soft carbonation ... crackin ... goes very well with tye puding it was paired with 4.1
