COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
22oz and tap at brewery & St Thomas Moore Oktoberfest- using all German malts, with a distinctive German hoppiness.

A Bavarian-style Oktoberfest bier brewed with the finest Bavarian malted barley, aromatic German noble hops and traditional yeast brewed in strict accordance with the German bier purity law of 1516, the Reinheitsgebot. This rich malty lager is one of the few that remain true to the tradition of fest beers originally brewed to honor the marriage of Prince Ludwig in 1810. We hope you enjoy this fall offering. Es is nicht normal. Prosit."

22oz bottle. Pours a lightly clouded, orange-golden-copper colored body with a thin, frothy, off-white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a light lacing. Aroma is rich and malty sweet. Fruity and grainy with a light caramel, sweet cereal, tangerine, and the lightest hint of grass. Flavor is more the same. Fruity, grainy, sweet, and malty. A hint of orange, caramel, and grass in the finish as this slowly dries with a rich malty sweetness and barely present bitterness. Short length aftertaste following a smooth, light to medium body and light, crisp carbonation. Overall, a pretty bland beer from FFF. The malts are rich and sweet with a pleasant hint of caramel, fruit, and grass, but this is nothing special from them. I will give them credit for producing a lager of this style, however. Its not the easiest thing to do.

Bottle. Pours a deep golden color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity grainy malty aroma. Sweetish malty grainy flavor with some bready hints. Has a sweetish malty grainy finish.

(22oz bomber via trade with StFun) medium amber with a ring of khaki bubbles. Nose of sweet caramel, butterscotch, and cereal grains. Taste of light alcohol, butterscotch, raw grain mash with a slick body and warming finish. Good for the style, one I don’t usually care much for.

Thanks to thirdeye11 for sharing this bottle. The beer pours a light orange color with a white head. The aroma is a mix of toffee and bready malts. The flavor is more complex with bread, caramel, toffee and grapes mixing together. Low bitterness from the hops. The beer tastes very clean. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

22 ounce bottle. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a golden/orange color with a pretty small head. Head retention is low, and not much lacing either. Aroma is light, but nice. It smells like bready malt, toffee, and some caramel. This brew tastes just like the aroma, malty and sweet. Good thing the taste is stronger compared to the aroma. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it’s slick but the carbonation is a bit low. Drinkability is decent, it’s not hard to drink at all. I realize that this bottle isn’t exactly fresh, so I’ll have to try this again in the future when a fresher batch comes out.

Orange beer, white head, not much aroma at all. Sweet tasting lager with touch of citrus and banana. As it states on the bottle "nicht normal". Not your usual lager, but a change.
