COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Bavarian-style Oktoberfest bier brewed with the finest Bavarian malted barley, aromatic German noble hops and traditional yeast brewed in strict accordance with the German bier purity law of 1516, the Reinheitsgebot. This rich malty lager is one of the few that remain true to the tradition of fest beers originally brewed to honor the marriage of Prince Ludwig in 1810. We hope you enjoy this fall offering. Es is nicht normal. Prosit."

Pours a very nice clear amber color with off-white head. Caramel malts, sweetness, and some wheat on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with more malty goodness.

Bottle. Pours hazy amber with a small to medium off white head. The aroma is toasted malt, bread and some fruity hops. The flavour is quite malty and bready with notes of fruit and hops. Malty sweet finish.

Bottle thanks to Bob. Pours a dark orange with small frothy white head. The aroma is a bready malt and barley. Medium mouthfeel with sweet hop and light yeasty malt. Good.

Hazy copper pour with a thin off white head ... aroma of rich caramel and toasted malts, some faint floral hops and just lots of german malty goodness .... taste is of toasted and caramel malts, little sugary sweetness and bitter floral hops with a light bitter bite .... solid oktoberfest and the abv hidden well ... mouthfeel is malty and slightly bitter

Bottle, thanks to J! Pours nice clear amber. Aroma: toasty, well-lagered - clean and crisp in the aroma. Some sweet caramel, stone fruit. Really nice. Taste: moderate sweetness, light bitterness in the finish, short crisp finish. Light body, average carbonation, crisp texture. Overall: not usually a style I'm crazy about, but this is really well executed and tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour from a 22 oz bomber. Cloudy amber brew with rich thich head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, green fruit. Taste is rather plain - a little sweet caramel at the start followed by a bit of green fruit and just enough bittering in the finish to offset the sweetness. Overall OK but rather lackluster.
