Commercial Description:
22oz and tap at brewery & St Thomas Moore Oktoberfest- using all German malts, with a distinctive German hoppiness.

A Bavarian-style Oktoberfest bier brewed with the finest Bavarian malted barley, aromatic German noble hops and traditional yeast brewed in strict accordance with the German bier purity law of 1516, the Reinheitsgebot. This rich malty lager is one of the few that remain true to the tradition of fest beers originally brewed to honor the marriage of Prince Ludwig in 1810. We hope you enjoy this fall offering. Es is nicht normal. Prosit."

Golden-orange in colour, very thin white coloured head, no lacing. The aroma is mildly sweet, some citrus, caramel and bread. The flavour is of light floral hops, some caramel malts, cookies and bread. Lightly bitter mouthfeel, medium/light body, medium carbonation. Finishes with a floral hop bite, lightly sweet. Not bad, a bit more enjoyable then the Bells Octoberfest just had.

Bottle... This beer rocks!... Hazy golden/orange lager with a mid-sized, wispy, short-lived, white head. Rich, buttery, toasted caramel aroma. Full-bodied with an intense, high viscosity mouthfeel and calm carbonation. Big time caramel with just enough of a hop addition to allow me to enjoy all the rich, hearty caramel malt without having to endure dizzying sweetness. Finishes modestly sweet, thick and caramelly. Best Märzen experience to date. This world class malt bomb was provided by scubarex!

Courtesy tpd975. Pours hazy copper to gold with weak tan head. The aroma is mild with some sweet maltiness, some spices, a sweet fruity mix of notes, some earthiness and grains. The taste is much the same only it seems sweeter with sugar sweet malts moving into some grains, spices, light melded fruity notes of grapes, figs and plums. Pretty nice but a bit on the sweet side for me.

Thi is a tough one for me becasue I don’t typically appreciate octoberfest beers. The taste is crisp and full. If this was sold nationally it would do very well. It’s like a really good sam adams.

Bomber. Pours a nice deep golden almost bright orange with a nice thin white head.. Aroma is toasted malts, doughy, a bit of cracker and cobwebs and a light herbal hop tone. Flavor is doughy , nuttty , bread, cracker, vienna malts, light citrus, and some earth and leathery hops. Ok vienna lager- nice and malty whcih I liked Surprisingly good for a lager from a mostly hoppy ale brewery.
