Bomber, pours medium clear golden orange with white head. Very nice floral hoppy aroma. Taste is quite hoppy as well, with pine and grapefruit standing out, heavy bitterness throughout. A solid DIPA.

Served: 22 oz bottle Look:pours a golden color. Almost yellow. Good half inch head that is all white. Definitely cloudy, not clear at all. Smell: very aromatic can smell before you even get to the glass. Flowers, hops, and citrus fruit smell Taste: extremely bitter from the start. Citrus fruits, lemon, grapefruit. Feel: very light, not heavily carbonated. Overall: not a terrible beer but too bitter, smells better than it tastes. Be careful, strong alcohol content hits hard and fast. 22oz bottle from seth823, thanks man! Pours a bright orange gold with a little bit of a haze to it with a thick white head and lacing all through the glass, aroma has a bright hop front end with a nice amount of resin and tropical fruit too, the flavor has a huge tropical fruit front end with a lot of citrus in the finish and smooth mouthfeel, abv is completely hidden, wow, flavor and aroma just jumps out of the glass, really good.

Bottle thanks to rxeight. Cloudy orange to yellow color. prominamt hoppy, danky aroma, reminiscent of citra with some of that mosaic diesel. Lots of hop flavor as well with only a mild and supportive bitterness. Very well balanced and not too sweet or aggressive. One of my favorites.

22. Thanks a! Pours a cloudy bright medium amber with a loose sudsy white head. Tangy sweet candied fruit nose, oranges and grapefruits. Lots of candied fruit on the mid palate, gets dry at the end. Long dry finish under a sweet hop cling...if that makes any sense.

Bottle share thanks to Homer321. Mildly hazy orange. Big hoppy, danky aroma. Lots of hop character, danky. Mild citrusy. Lots of caramel and malty type flavor follows.

An aggressive yet extremely well balanced double IPA. Had on draft in Lexington, KY. One the best doubles I’ve ever had.

Three Floyds Imperials just don't surprise me anymore. Tap at the three Floyds Brewpub. Drank immediately after a Dreadnaught on tap, which probably wasn't a good idea (the fresh, draft Dreadnaught was unbelievable), but it still held its own. Incredibly floral for its ABV, and really tasty. Must try. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
