Amazing. Resinous hoppy flavor. Murky orange pour. Vanilla, citrus and toffee followed by more citrus. Don’t pass this one up.

22oz bomber shared at tasting. Tastes better than I remembered from when I had it before(?). Garlic, green onion overload. A little hairspray. very bold and intense. A touch harsh. One for the hardcore.

Draught at CBC 2014. Clear golden liquid with a medium off-white head. Aroma of citrus, flowers, bread and tangerine. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter with notes of citrus, tangerine and bread. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice.

Slightly hazed golden orange pour. Big off white head with a good bit of lacing. Big citrusy orange aroma with a good deal of malt and slight caramel. Taste is a big malt back with citrus hops. Finishes slightly sweet with a bit of bitterness.

Bottle in trade from Joe. Thanks buddy! Been wanting to try this one for a while now. Bottle dated 8/20/14 poured 9/11/14. Pours very slightly hazy golden orange colored with a huge creamy and fluffy white head. Aroma is big time juicy citrus hops, mango, pineapple, grapefruit, grass, sweet malt and very reminiscent of Dreadnaught (though it's been a while since I had that one). Flavor is big on the dry pine bitterness with sweet mango and grapefruits, some sweet malt backing but this is much lighter than expected. Lingering dry bitterness on the tongue. This seems to bridge the gap of the super bitter and the sweet tropical malty DIPA extremes and comes off very nicely. Medium plus bodied, very resinous, dry finish, with medium carbonation. This is excellent.

Bottle at Churchkey. Shockingly floral aroma. Taste is smooth and fruity with grapefruit and mixed tropical fruit. Delicious.

A most excellent gift. Pours a hazy golden toward orange-ish with a fair off-white cap that hangs out at a low level and leaves some touches of spotty lace. Nose involves a stone fruit perfume riding above a robust gym-socky yeast along with some crackery, biscuity and lightly caramelized malts. Pretty sweet, decently but not insanely bitter. Big body, oily, soft yet active, with a lingering tingly piney bitterness. Perhaps Dreadnaught and Panzer Wolf had a love child, and they named it Permanent Funeral? Whatever the familial background, this is definitely tasty, and definitely worth a shot even if you are a 3 Floyds h8r (like I may or may not be). Would be fun to smoke a green bowl with. I think there may be some Illuminati symbolism in the art-work, but there is also Illuminati symbolism in the mock-up I did for Dogfish Head Saison du Buff (blank 4-pack holders, wtf???), so, I think the feds finally found out about craft beer. Now we can all burn in hell in peace. (p.s. I set aside a 2 oz portion in the sun for like 7 minutes and, yeah, skunked. Science is kool!).

Pours hazy orange with a thick white head with lots of lacing. Peach, apricot and guava aroma with notes of candy sugar. Taste has notes of oranges, mango, pineapple and caramel. Finish is long and minerally. Holy hell what a beer.

Tap at CBC 2014. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice head. Fine hoppy aroma. Starts wonderful fruity-dry, notes of grapefruit and lemon, bitter background. Dry-bitter finish. Nice!

Bottle. Pours deep gold, white head. Little retention/decent lacing. Aroma of citrus, orange candies, caramel, sugar, light booze. Taste is bitter, citrus, caramel, quite sweet. Palate is slick, average carbonation, sweet finish. More of a dry hopped barleywine than dipa.

At the brewpub. Huge hop flavor. Lots of grapefruit and pine. A sweetness to balance things and very fresh hop flavor. Serving: Tap
