Amazing. Resinous hoppy flavor. Murky orange pour. Vanilla, citrus and toffee followed by more citrus. Don’t pass this one up.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Fresh in bottle. Perhaps my favorite Double IPA at the moment. It hits all the notes of the best contemporary pales, replacing Dreadnaught, in my mind, as Three Floyds' best hoppy offering (though even rarer offerings like Rye Da Tiger deserve some consideration).

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pour is a hazed dark amber with a tight off white head. Nose is piney hops, resin, notes of orange peel, and an underlying grain. Taste is not overly hoppy, a bit of balance with the hops bringing pine and a hint of hop resin. The citrus comes in in back, strong orange and a touch of orange juice. Finish is very dry, gently carbonated with a soft body.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
A: Pours a very clear golden color with a huge white, frothy head. Nice lacing
S: Huge pine resinous notes upfront with some peach, mango, pineapple, and a tad of garlic like onion.
T: Really nice pine upfront with alcohol. Some mango, orange and light hint of onion.
M: Medium bodied with soft but nice carbonation.
O: Really love this beer, but after having it in the bottle I love is so much more on draft. Still really good though.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This was a limited release. I hope they bring it back because it was my favorite new beer of 2013, and my favorite IIPA of the year, and my favorite 3 Floyds beer ever... although the artwork was a bit over the top.
It poured a nice golden/orange color with a bit of haze and just the right head. Tons of citrus and stone fruit in the aroma and the taste followed suit. The flavors matched almost perfectly with the aroma. Nice medium body, and a great malt/hop balance - not too much caramel or bitterness - great malt with near perfect hop profile.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle from a trade poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy dark orange color with about a finger of off-white head. Some sediment towards the end of the bottle. Nice sticky lacing. Aromas of citrus, tropical fruit, floral hops, light dank notes. Tasting notes of grapefruit citrus, tropical fruit, pine/resin, sweet malt, piney and floral hops. Medium body with a semi-dry finish, juicy malty mouthfeel. Very smooth for 10.5% ABV.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Sturdy, medium statured beige colored head with good retention and a thin coating lace. Hazy, copper/gold hued brew. Nose of melons, grapefruit, hint of burnt wiring and cedar. Full bodied and juicy on the palate with a soft carbonation level, nicely chewy. Lotsa fruity flavors, peach, strawberry and citrus and a hint of caramel malts. Balanced to the (you know whats comin!?) hoppy side! just like i like,m!! Sticky finish with a lesser than expected bite but thats ok,,, Its,, Three Floyds.Them fellers are alright! Props to NeoHippie2 for the bomber! Thanks Ray!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle from the recent super bowl squares very stoked to try this one! Pour has a dark orange golden color with a coating of white head that retained a ring on the glass. Aroma shows loads of hops, citrus, orange zest, sweet malt, and light onions. Mouth feel is light and the carbonation medium low. Flavor again is loaded with hops, citrus rind, flowers, sweet malt underlying and a smooth finish with little heat at all considering the abv. It does touch a bit on the soapy or oniony thing but overall it is a nice hop blasting and very smooth to drink.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Sample shared by a friend. Slightly hazy orange-gold color with a medium off-white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of sticky lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, tropical fruits and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, pithy grapefruit and toasted malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering dank hoppy aftertaste. Very good IIPA all around.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Stenys in a 10oz pilsner glass. Pours a pale orange with a white head tap. Aroma has big citrus and fresh sweet fruit (mango & pineapple) with faint malts presence. Taste is very citrusy and very fruity, with some herbalness. Medium bodied. Very little alcohol presence. Finishes bitter fruity and long. Lovely! So see this as Zombie’s fruity brother ...
