Draft at FFF. Pour is hazed dark golden with a thin sticky off white head...very toasty malty aroma...a lightly sweet very toasty flavor with a nice smooth grassy bitterness...another thick chewy mouth feel...

May 5, 2008 DLD ’08: On tap in the pub: Pours a clear gold with a white head. Aroma, sweet grainy malts, herbal notes, yeast. Flavor, grains, light fruits, herbal notes, sweet pale malts. Pretty tasty.

May 1, 2008 Draft… DLD’08… Clear yellow lager with a small, fluffy, white head. Fuzzy fruit, biscuit malt and spicy hops provide the framework for the aroma. Full-bodied with a 2%-milk mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Too sweet. Lightly bitter. Gently acidic. Sweet, tangy finish with very little bite.

Apr 29, 2008 On draft at brewpub the night before DLD 08. Pours a semi clear orange amber with a small white head. Aroma of spicy hops and light citrus. Taste of spicy hops and citrus. has a tangy flavor to it.

Apr 28, 2008 Appearance: Clear, golden body capped by a smallish, white head.
Smell: Mild malt scent pumped up with a hop character giving off spicy notes of dried citrus peel.
Taste: Sweetish, candyish pale maltiness and a quick, clean taste of grain. Spicy, lightly citrusy hops with a medium amount of bitterness. Touch of yellow apple fruitiness on the finish.
Mouthfeel: The body has just enough heft to it to get it beyond light-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: A fine, tasty session-minded lager. Enjoyed at the Three Floyds brewpub, it’s nice to jumpstart the day before moving onto the Alpha Kong, Blackheart, etc.
