Nov 24, 2002 Bottled. Reddish brown with not much head. Flowery, grapefruity hpo aroma. Clean maltiness, crystal malt profile. Balanced hop bitterness. The hop flavour is nice, but it’s lacking in depth. This is nowhere near a soft, murky maltiness expected in a mild, but is more of a lighter version of American pale ale.

Sep 2, 2001 Preface: the rep told me it wasn’t quite up to snuff so take this with a grain of salt. Floral, hoppy nose; a fairly bitter body, crisp with only a touch of malt. I’d call this an Ordinary, not a Mild, as there really isn’t a lot of malt to it.
