10-25-07 bottle. Tangerine hoppy aroma. Cloudy amber color with good head. Enjoyable hoppy flavor with no soapy finish. A bit watery and weak but drinkable, none the less.

Aug 18, 2008 Great glowing orange with a fluffy white head that took a while to fade and left a little bit of nice lacing on the glass. Bright citrusy and floral hops. Slight bit of fresh cut grass and some of the light, caramel malt back bone are also present in the nose. Similar to the smell with a really well balanced amount of floral/citrus/pine hops and very little of that sweet caramel malt backbone. Really well balanced APA, but not overpowering in any aspect. A pretty decent mouthfeel with a nice bit of prickly carbonation along the tongue. A really great APA that I could easily session. I think this is on par with 3F other APA offering, Alpha King. Its just a really relaxing easily enjoyable beer.

Aug 14, 2008 Pours a hazy amber-orange with a small white head. Aroma is tangerines, lemons, and floral hops..has that familiar Three Floyds smell. Taste is all citrus hops and a hint of malt/yeast in the finish. Very crisp, carbonated, and light bodied...refreshing. A perfect summer beer. Almost like it as much as Gumballhead.

Aug 8, 2008 A great light beer from FFF. A nice FFF hop taste, perfect for the summer. Reminded me of a lighter Dreadnaught with a great citrus taste.

Aug 1, 2008 Updated: Aug 3, 2008FFF on tap- this is a mild? Very hop dominant, and not much in the way of malt flavors. This is advertised as a mild, and you automatically think english. Not so. I guess this is an american mild. drat at coles at buffalo- 08-08- really- quite a nice beer. drink at all costs.

Jul 30, 2008 Light amber - slightly hazy - with a quickly dissipating head that leaves behind substantial lacing. Aroma is really balanced between sweet malt and citrus hops. Flavor is exactly the same, impressively balanced between the malt and restrained hops. Well carbonated and light bodied, it’s incredibly drinkable and refreshing. A little pricey for a session brew, but could potentially serve as a good gateway beer for those seeking something beyond the MBC triumvirate.
