Bottle from M&F in Copenhagen. Fruity and hoppy smell. I think I get some ripe and/or dried fruits in the background. Similar taste. Light body and slightly harsh mouthfeel.

12oz bottle. Pours a hazed amber with a small off white head. Aromas of toffee, nutty, bread. No perceptible hops in the nose. Taste is semi sweet and just slightly bitter. Flavors of bread, dry roasted peanuts, toffee. Finish is very doughy and sticky. Not my thing at all.

Fresh bottle. Pours dark amber with two one finger’s worth of white head. Aroma is caramel, peach, nectarine, tropical fruit and lots of honey. The taste is a combination of those. Real interesting interplay with the stone fruit and honey here. Not what I expected but smooth and enjoyable.

Scopey (5549) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 2, 2014
Bottle from Mikkeller & Friends bottle shop. It pours clear amber with a medium white head. The nose is fresh, floral, orange peel, tangerine, candied peel and toast. The taste is orange peel, floral, toasty, hay bergamot and crisp bitterness and hay with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Moths mild IMO, but a solid golden session ale.

Little to no head. Quite cloudy. Flavor is very mild with subtle hints of light citrus and bitter citrus rind. Bitterness lingers on the finish. Not overly impressed.
