Three Floyds interpretation of an American mild. A smooth medium bodied session beer with a bright citrus hop aroma and finish.

Pours a hazy rusty gold with an off white head and hopy aroma of peaches. Taste is sweet and hoppy, of peaches, fruits, malt, and caramel with a dry, bitter finish. Very drinkable and great tasting lighter brew.

Asa’s Pre-Flight Tasting Beer #1. There was nothing mild about this beer [rim shot]. But seriously, this was a solid Amber, a category that I usually don’t much care for. Pours just slightly darker than a typical pilsner with a touch of haze and a white head. Scent is pine and honey. Well carbonated with citrus and honey flavoring. Bottle - Liquor Locker - Evansville, IN

Clear copper with fleeting white head. Very American take on a mild! Caramel malt balances soft citrus and flowery hops. Lavender big time. Clean and drinkable.

Tap. Pours dark orange with white head. Slight orange aroma and very mild hop profile.

This strikes me as an extremely successful translation of the hop/malt profile of FFF beers like Alpha King and Dreadnaught to a lighter format. With less alcohol, hops are a bit more forward which I really like. The hops are still balanced with some malt that keep things from turning into a hop circus.

Bought a 6 pack on my way from Ohio to Indiana for a fishing trip. Pours a cloudy orange with a nice mango, citrus smell and taste. A great sessionable beer that went perfectly with my trip. Will seek out again when in Indiana.

Pours a clear, classic golden color with an antique white colored head. Subtle, but present lemon aroma. Seems a result of the perfect balance of malt and citrus aromatic hops. Mouthfeel is quite full, slick, and wet. I believe that FFF might have good water for pale ales. Lemony and biscuity balanced sweet, bitter, and sour flavors. This is a painfully drinkable, good, all-around pale ale.

Bottle. Colour... cloudy amber with no head. Nose...spent grain, brown sugar and mild hops. Palate...dry, mash like with a tangy-dry roasted malt flavour and hints of toffee but not much else. Certainly sessionable but far from transcendent.

Hadith on tap at State & Lake in Chicago. It poured a thin head with even lacing clear amber hue and a notes of hops. The taste is mild hop tastiness.

Draught at Three Floyds. Poured hazy amber orange with light head. Sweet citrus grapefruit aromas. Quite smooth first taste hop pine then the malt ale finish. Different. ---Rated via Beer Buddy
