Bottle. The pour was a medium amber with a brownish hue and an average sized (1-2 finger) white frothy head that lasted a good while, slowly reducing to a thin cap and small collar with some good sheets of streaky lace. The aroma was of a floral hop, a grain malt and a mild earthy yeast with notes of citrus (grapefruit and orange peel) and a mild apricot sweetness. The taste was mildly bitter with a hint of orange from the start then progressed into a much bitterer hoppy flavor with a good citrusy grapefruit taste at the end. The flavor lasted a decent duration being mostly of a bitter citrus taste. Mouthfeel was just beyond light in body with a mildly dry texture and a moderate carbonation. Overall a fantastic Mild Ale with a really nice hoppy feel to it...

Look - Dark orange. Weak pour lead to thin, off white head. Lacing. See through as it warms. Smell - Light, hoppy dank smell. Earthy. Light citrus. Taste - Very good for a lighter beer. Dank grapefruit. Bread. Earth. Bitter on finish. Feel - No carb bomb. Doesn’t stick to tongue. Smooth. Overall - I hear they stopped bottling this for Yum Yum? Bring it back! Very good for abv.

Tasted from draft. Pours a clear Amber with off white head. Big time hop aroma that is citrus fruit and pine. Taste is surprisingly not that bitter as expected from the aroma. Mild to moderate bitterness with moderate sweetness. Some toffee and bready flavors with a citrusy and pine hop flavors to balance. Very sessionable. As usual a great beer by Three Floyds. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle poured into pint glass. Pours a hazy burnt orange amber with a small off white head that dissipates swiftly. Very hoppy and citrusy aroma and flavor. Great mouthfeel with mild carbonation. Great beer.

Pours a murky amber with a think egg shell color head. There’s a citrus, caramel, bread, and malts. The taste was sweet upfront that faded into a dry bitter after taste. Flavors of tart tangerine, caramel, grapefruit, bread, and pine. Medium body that was sticky or almost chewy on the palate. Overall, very enjoyable and a good session brew.
