COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Smooth and elegant, light body, creamy mouthfeel, light spicing from coriander and orange peel give a wonderfully malty/spicy sweet ale. Big alcohol lurking underneath a light and frothy exterior

Pours hazy deep yellow with a thin head that dissapates. Aroma of lemon and a bit of funk and spices. Something in here isn’t pleasing, almost like an older lager smell. Taste is lemongrass, herbal hops and ends with a huge pepper spice that overwhelms and I love a good pepper in my saison, but this was just too much.

Appearance: Pours a bright cloudy gold with a thin white film atop.

Aroma: Spicy, earthy yeast and crushed pineapple.

Taste: Earthy, spicy bitter yeast, banana, pineapple, clove and spicy herbal hops in the finish.

Mouthfeel: Thick, modest carbonation.

Overall: Unique, bold, not my bag for a Saison.

A decent offering, well worth the money and i’d possibly get it again. Just didn’t knock my socks off. Maybe my least favorite FFF beer yet. just not good to style or on its own.

650 ml bottle poured into a pint glass. Hazy orange color - very murky looking, thick head recedes quickly. Lots of yeasty sediments collects at the bottom of the glass. Peppery, spicy aroma. Lots of orange peel with a little rum. Very spicy -- mainly peppery type grains of paradise flavor with some alcohol notes. Pretty full bodied beer with lots of carbonation. Nice summer beer to drink on the patio on a hot day. Definitely get another bomber, but I’ll be a little more careful in the pour, as there’s lots of sediment in this beer.

Bottle thanks to Overml01. Pours an off orange with white head. Looks almost like a cloudy orange juice after the head dissipates. Nose and taste of coriander, peel, lemongrass, citrus and spices. The spices kind of overwhelm the palate.

From the bottle, pours a hazy orange yellow with a thin head. Aroma is yeasty and with some citrus and orange and lemon peel. Taste is immediately yeasty, some bananas and bubblegum like a hefe, but ends a bit more sour. As it warms a bit, it becomes more sour with flavors of wild yeast, finishing with some black pepper. It’s ok, good beer, but not my favorite FFF offering.

22oz bottle. Swampy yellow with a small off white head. Coriander, clove, cinnamon, and citrus dominate the nose. Off dry on the palate.
