COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Smooth and elegant, light body, creamy mouthfeel, light spicing from coriander and orange peel give a wonderfully malty/spicy sweet ale. Big alcohol lurking underneath a light and frothy exterior

Flaske, 65 cl. Mikkeller & Friends. Let tåget orangefarvet bryg med forhokdvist lavt hvidt skum. Krydret aroma. Brød, hø, koriander, gær, appelsin. Sær tone af marcipan i smagen. For sød og savner både humlenoter og især bitterhed. Ikke den danske pris værd.

Pours a hazy god, strong aroma of orange peel, orange peel up front with a funky spice and sweet alcohol on the finish, pretty good overall

Poured from the bottle. Color was slightly amber a small white head. Slight funk and chamomile aroma, not the best. Taste was spicy with some fruitiness, but not to my liking. Interesting take on a Saison, but definitely not my favorite from three floyds.

The saison is typically not my style but I give everything from 3 floyds a go. Full of belgina spice, banana, clove, slight hops. This is a saison and not an overly hopped belgian which comes out like an IPA like some of their others. This is closer to the style but they do pack more of those flavors in than most.

Trade from BrewMane. Thanks! Pour is orange golden and very clear with nearly no head at all...interesting for the style. Aroma is strong orange, pear, apple, honey, and only a hint of yeast funk. Flavor is candy sweet apple honey flavor, thick mouthfeel for style, but with light effervescent carbonation. Lingering carbonation prickle and honey sweetness. A bit dank and syrupy. Decent beer but heavy for this style. Worth a try.

2013 bottle to snifter. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is slightly citrus and alcohol. Taste is citrus with a floral quality and a little funk with the alcohol very apparent. Thin mouthfeel and dry. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy light amber color with a small white head and decent lacing. Slight funk and chamomile aroma. Light malt flavor then big coriander spiciness with some alcohol and chamomile taste in finish. Light oily mouthfeel with light body and medium/high carbonation. Interesting take on a Saison with the spicing but a little too much for me and wasnt a fan of the chamomile.

Hazy golden color with a nice white head. Smells of sweet funk, citrus, sour. A light bodied sweet and spicy initial taste, coriander, then gives way to a bit of caramel malt, and some more spice with a slight bit of alcohol burn, green tea. Unique tastes overall but not quite a typical saison, which I don't mind at all. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a hazy golden color with an off white head. Smell is spicy, earthy, yeast and mild malt. Taste is earthy, slightly malty with spice in particular coriander. Carbonation is a bit high while the body is light/medium. The taste seems a bit artificial.

22 ounce bottle divided by four. It’s definitely a non-traditional saison. I liked it, especially the unusual inclusion of camomile, which comes off as a spicy, peppery lavender. There’s a boozy, sweet bite to it that may have something to do with the rock candy. The appearance is appealing: bright, opaque, marigold orange and a dense white foam that sticks around at the surface. The aroma was dank, sweet, and floral. Palate was medium bodied and chewy. It’s not as crisp, light, and down-the-hatchable as most saisons. I’d like to try this one out of the tap. It’s not a good one for the saison purists out there, though.
