3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark copper color with medium fluffy white head that leaves a nice thick lacing. Aroma is faint but has great floral notes and perfumes. Flavor is spicy with a lot of hops and balanced with light malts. Dry mouthfeel with slight alcohol tingle. Okay overall, but pretty expensive bottle for not that great of a saison.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
Bottle, shared with BBGTC. Pours a deep amber body with a tiny white head. Nose is caramel, Norwegian brown cheese, rum, hints of straw, nuts and spices Taste is caramel, raisins, bitter herbs, wet paper and hints of stale pepper and glue. Medium body, soft carbonation. Seems completely oxidized, which is weird considering the circumstances. Weird, but even bad ass brewers like 3F can swing and miss sometimes.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle shared with BBGTC. Pours a hazy deep orange. Little to no head. Aroma is thick syrupy caramel, toffee and a slightly oxidized touch. Taste is sweet with hints of raisins. I would assume this was better fresh. And I can’t find much saison here at all. Texture is oily, softly carbonated.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Reddish orange pour with a slight head. The nose seems a little malt forward with notes of grains, yeast, and a slight grassy, spicy hop note. Fuller bodied on the tongue than I care for in a saison with a good bit of yeast influence. Lingering sweet finish. Not bad per se, but not great either.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
22oz bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a hint of crimson. Half inch of off-white head. Aroma is hops, malt, bread, sweet fruits, esters, candies. This is clearly past the date when it should have been consumed.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
bottleshare thanks to DexterCat. Super sweet and no funkiness at all. Kind just a honey sweetness that lingers until it becomes intolerable. Just not good.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
bottle, 500th Indiana beer, hurray! - Pours very hazy orange with a big, dense, off white head. The aroma is of resinous hops, caramel, and alcohol. It tastes of big hops bitterness, resinous hops, caramel malt, and yeast. Bitterness lingers on the palate of this... saison? hah! Honestly I’m not sure why 3 Floyd’s calls it one. I like the beer, it’s not great but it’s very good, but I’d put it in the more catch-all category American Strong Ale.
