Nomber. Poured medium golden with a creamy, well-retained eggshell head.. nice lacing. The aroma picked up a whole helluva lot of mango, with pineapple and peppery rye also showing.. loved it! The flavor found sweet tropical fruit and biscuity malts at the core.. juicy mango, pineapple, black pepper, and rye around.. lots of tropical fruit bitterness and rye on the long, belly-warming finish. Medium-bodied, juicy, and engaging on the palate.. great stuff!

THE Fruit Sour tasting. Thanks to Paul for sharing this treat. Hazy amber beer, good cream coloured head. Palate is light and dry. Semi soft with fine carbonation. Creamy malt and a touch of seltzer minerals. Lovely tropical fruits and a little orange marmalade. Finishes soft. Very nice indeed. A fine beer from the ever great Three Floyds and a fine tribute to one of the creme de la creme of rocks singers. Cheers Ronnie!

On tap at FFF: pour is murky light.golden with a modest fine bubbled.white head in this glass. Sticky lacing, and average retention is present here. The nose is biscuit, pine, grapefruit, and there are elements of the rye here. It seems like an off shoot of dreadnaught to me, with less of the florals and.more.of the rye. The flavor profile is more grapefruit, pine, caramel, juicy fruit, sticky mouthfeel, caramel, and the rye provides a certain spiciness. Anyway, this is another nice one obviously. It’s no Nelson but its damn tasty

This draft brew from a restaurant poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were and left behind a softly carbonated hazy orange colored body. The strong aroma was rye and malty. The mouth feel was very tingly at the start and at the finish with a biting aftertaste. The strong flavor contained notes of rye. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.

A nice foam head followed by a nice scent. I smell citrus, pine, grapefruit, slight rye, and malts. I taste barley, caramelized malts, oranges, hops, and rye. Overall it has a medium level of bitterness. This is a good brew and won’t corrupt or put stress on the palate. I would enjoy to have this again.

Bomber. Boiled over a bit when opened. Looks like a science experiment, in that sediment is constantly floating around. Delicious. The rye compliments the hops quite well. I could drink these all day.

Orangish pour, fluffy head. Aroma is heavy on the rye and citrus. Flavor is bitter, loads of rye, orange peel, resiny finish. Big beer.

Bottle at The Fruit Sour Tasting, London - thanks to Paul. Pours fuzzy orange with a creamy white froth. Monstrously juicy aroma of orange, grapefruit, melon and other tropical fruits. Medium to big sweet flavor with moderate sugars, sticky pine, some alcohol, rich citrus. Full bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Warm finish with sticky resins, very juicy, not too cloying, lingering pine. Excellent.

22oz bottle. Lived up to the hype and then some. Brighter in color than I would’ve thought. Sweet great merge between an IIPA and a Rye. Really clean golden malt actually, not so thick on the caramel and chocolate which usually accompany the style. Big citrus balance. Awesome, a true Rye IIPA, not a hoppy Rye.
