Bottle shared thanks to Dave. Pours an attractive amber color with a white head. Aroma is of citrusy/pine hops, light grainy rye and a touch of caramel. Taste of nice resiny pine/citrus hops, sweet grainy rye notes, light toast and another solid dose of bitterness on the finish. RIP Dio......solid beer.

humlelala (954) - DENMARK - APR 28, 2013
(Sample courtesy of Yespr) Pours a clear golden with medium, white head. Good retention and plenty of lace. Good regeneration. Aroma is pleasantly fruity hoppy Nelson Sauvin-style with hints of passion fruit and cat’s pee. Oily texture, medium carbonation, medium to full body and a fruity, slightly sweet finish. Very pleasant indeed.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy golden with a lacing off-white head. Rubbery, farty nose until the good perfumy hops kick in. Rich, sweet malts and fruit before a massive hop kick. Perfumy more than citrusy. Solid bitterness. 270413

650 ml bottle courtesy of queenholly. Thanks Rebekah. Pours a cloudy orange-ish color with a small white head that slowly recedes to a film. The aroma is medium in strength vegetables and cat piss. Cant say that I really dug the aroma too much. The taste, unlike the aroma, is a masterpiece--I get rye grains, apricots, melons, mild spices, oranges and perhaps some sweetened grapefruit. The palate is full and silky smooth with soft carbonation. Finishes long with lingering spicy hops. Overall: Decent DIPA, a bit like Alpine Nelson on steroids.

Thanks to an anonymous PUB"R member at Craft Ale House Tuesday Titan Tasting Temptation for this. Pours turbid dark straw/orange with off-white had. Nose was very Zombie Dusty; a medley of Belgian yeasty floral malt, spicy hops, Tasted rich, complex, with upfront floral and peppery hops, and a great mid-palate yeasty fruity malt bill. Complex and delicious, this one makes me wish I could intern for Nick Floyd.

22oz high shoulder bottle courtesy of StFun pours with an opaque orange copper body that supports a nice looking off white head of foam. The aroma offers up citrus notes of tangelo and getting into some grapefruit with a dash of lemon. These aromatic notes are deepened by thin streams of sweet maltiness. The taste is rich and deliciously bold with malt sweetened grapefruit as well as a mix of tangelo and orange. The citrus hops get progressively more bitter to midway. This is just yummy richness from front to back with a pleasing degree of balance as well.

Bottle. Orange/tropical fruit, bready rye malt, and caramel aroma. Cloudy orange amber with a small off-white head. Orange peel, bready and spicy rye malt, and sweet mango flavor. Full sticky body, moderate carbonation. Not a bad choice for my 50th DIPA.
