Bottle - thanks Jeremiah! Pour hazy golden amber with a large creamy off-white head that slowly dissipates with nice lacing. A lot of sediment in the bottom of the bottle. Aroma is wonderful grapefruit, a bit of pine. Flavor is about the same, plus a noticeable spiciness from the rye. Lightly sweet, light to medium bitter. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Nice beer.

22 oz. bottle. Mostly clear amber with strong retention. Aroma has a decent amount of fruit. Orange zest, lemons, tropical fruit and underlying rye. Nice!

Flavor has a light rye base with traces of grass and the same fruitiness that is found in the aroma. The body is a little on the thin side and is lacking in body. Not what I was expecting in that department. Some light alpha acid and has an oily mouthfeel. Some bready biscuit malt to help balance this beast. Overall pretty good.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a crystal clear, golden colored body with a finger-width, creamy and frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is grapefruit citruses and pines with a bit of a juicy sweetness. Floral tropical fruits, some rye spice, and a light bready pale malt sweetness. Flavor is similar. Big grapefruit pines, juicy resins, floral tropical fruits, and a nice rye spice and lightly sweetened malt backing with some caramel notes. Finishes dry, citrusy, and moderately bitter with a nice rye spice and slight caramel. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a really solid DIPA. Tons of fresh, bitter, juicy, citruses with a nice rye spice and light caramel sweetness. Nice one.

Bottle at Mikkeller and Friend’s Grand Opening. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Sweet and very bitter. Lots of hops aromas. Floral and sprucy hops profile with hints of plant sap. Soft carbonation. Medium bodied. Dry finish. Good.

Bottle. Orange/tropical fruit, bready rye malt, and caramel aroma. Cloudy orange amber with a small off-white head. Orange peel, bready and spicy rye malt, and sweet mango flavor. Full sticky body, moderate carbonation. Not a bad choice for my 50th DIPA.

Bomber courtesy of rlgk. Pours hazy pale golden with a frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving a sticky trace and lacing on the glass. Smell is fruity and herbal with crackers, white bread, mixed fresh tropical fruits, alcohol, grapefruit juice, lemon zest, gooseberries, unripe currants, freshly cut grass, pine needles, resin and hints of dry wood. Taste is very tiny sweet, bitter and fruity with crackers, white bread, alcohol, tropical fruits, pine needles, resinous wood, grapefruit juice, lemon zest, grapefruit rinds, gooseberries, black pepper and hints of red currants and black currant leaves. Mouthfeel is round, slightly oily bitter, smooth, very tiny astringent and near full bodied. Finish is bitter with grapefruit rinds, lemon balm, alcohol, pine needles, resinous wood and lemon zest. Very very nice IIPA.

Another gem. 24-karat pour with hints of crimson, scarlet, and tangerine topped with an ivory foam. Candied orange, mango, papaya and guava accompanied honey-baked biscuit and spicy black pepper. Think of citrus jam spread generously across toasted marbled-rye bread. Tasty...the breakfast of champions!

Draft at three Floyd's brewpub. Crazy good. Floral fruity smell. Clear orange pour. Sticky white head. Amazing rye and hops combo, one of my favorites here so far ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber at Sergio’s World beers. This is not as hoppy as I would expect from FFF, but not to say it’s not hoppy. There is hugely assertive rye in the aroma with accents of citrusy hops. Palate is fairly sticky with spicy rye and an even wash of hops. I can’t believe the restraint of bitterness, relatively speaking.
