4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Hazy orange with good, foamy off-white head, some legs / Bright nose of weed, cut pine, orange, grapefruit, candied sugar, and rye spice / Medium body, just a hint watery, creamy and chewy, sweet with good hop bite, and solid bitter finish / Flavors a little earthier than the nose, but otherwise a match, although not picking up a lot of rye character / Despite the nit-picking, another stellar brew by 3F.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle thnx to budznudz! Cheers Chris! Pours a beautiful darker orange pour with a beautiful small white head. Nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is of pineapple, peach and mango. Very floral hoppy influences. Flavour is mildly bitter with a typical grainy sweet backbone. I think the rye is present in the flavour, but not sure if that’s it. Drinks very easy, nice in balanced and an overall great beer!

Draft at three Floyd's brewpub. Crazy good. Floral fruity smell. Clear orange pour. Sticky white head. Amazing rye and hops combo, one of my favorites here so far

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours cloudy orange amber with a 3 finger, chunky off white head and high effervescence. Aroma is huge on citrus, tropical fruit and floral hops, some pine, biscuit, a little caramel and spiciness that could be hops, rye, or a combination of the two. Big tropical fruit, citrus, pine and spicy hops, biscuit, toast, cereal and twiggy pine. medium to heavy body, light carbonation, and a creamy to chewy feel. Fantastic stuff.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Appearance: Pours a clear amber gold with a beige ring and micro film.
Aroma: Grapefruit, dank tangerine. Brown sugar.
Taste: Grapefruit citrus like hop. Dry spicy malt. Hop biterness that lingers.
Mouthfeel: Juicy medium bodied modest carbonation.
Overall: Tasty, hoppy, super drinkable, especially for something nearing 9%. My evolving palate likes this way better than Dreadnaught.

New bomber from three floyds picked up at westlakeview liquors. Tastes like a IPA with rye added. Bright citrus notes again mostly featuring grapefruit. Just a touch of malt sweetness before finishing with a good spicy kick from the rye

This was really quite good. Big hops, piney and citrus, enough malty to back it up. Dry finish and spicy taste and finish from the rye. Serving: Bottle

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from queenholly. This pours an amber-orange color with a one finger off-white head that sheds some scattered lacing. There’s a pungent citrusy hop aroma with grapefruit, tangerine, and mango making it quite tropical. A little malt sneaks in there with some grass notes as well. The flavor offers a blast of puckery and bitter tropical fruity hops. Sweet upfront with a citrus rind bitterness taking over mid-palate and into the finish. Some grassy-floral notes mix in there. The body is definitely sturdy but not too malty with a spicy character that is probably the rye influence. Overall this is a really good Double IPA, which is pretty much what I expected from a hoppy Three Floyds beer.
