Pours golden color with a small head, some small particles floating around. Aroma of floral hops, toffee, sweetish fruits and resin. Flavor of resiny hops, goose berries, some caramel and mild rye. Sweetish fruity palate with a mild toffee finish. A bit disappointing and stuffy.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy orange with a medium white head. Aroma is quite skunky and herbally, some buttery malts, and a little rye. Flavour is heavy on the rye, but never too overburdening, with loads of resinous and citrus hops. Lots of flavour and very enjoyable, but not one of my favourite IIPAs by Three Floyds.

650 ml bottle.
Pours a dark copper golden colour with a white head. Aroma of rye, bread, biscuity malts and grass. Flavour of rye, biscuity malts, grassy hops, strong citrus, floral notes and some caramel. Medium bodied, thick mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Finishes sticky, floral, bitter and a bit musty. A bit musty because of rye, but the hop profile is still excellent. Great.

Bottle shared by Max at the dad palace for the Daduary 2013 tasting. Pours a deep, hazy amber orange body with nice head and lots of lacing. Aroma is juicy fresh grapefruit, pine, and rye. Mouthfeel is medium with same notes in the flavor. Overall a great IPA.

Aroma has fruity hops, peaches, hay and hints of apricot. Flavour has hops, gooseberry bush, fruity notes, some nettles and hints of caramel. Too stuffy but otherwise good.

Bomber from akurzynski - thanks, Adam! And of course, thanks to Ronnie James-ah! Gorgeous pour, lustrous deep orange with tons of soapy bubbles and complex lacing. Nose is buoyantly fruity and hoppy to start, with not much rye detectable. But that element comes across very prominently in the taste, complementing the fruitiness quite well and substituting for the pine you get in other variants. Tons of orange, rye malt, bitter rind, and other tropical fruits going on, all of it coming together in a nicely spicy and quite lengthy finish. Race for the morning!

Bottle sample at the beer vs. wine tasting at Aficionado’s on 2/23/13. Pours a clear, yet chunky gold to amber color with a thin off-white head. Malty sweet nose with notes of spicy rye and hop. Malty flavor with spicy rye character and oniony hops in the finish.

Draft, bright hazed orange with small white head. Aroma has bright citrusy and floral, earthy undertones. Flavors have assertive citrus and rye, honey dew, mango, caramelly finish. Fairly sweet and sticky finish. Seems under attenuated. I think the smaller version is more my speed.

Bottle... Poured golden/yellow with a thin head. This quite good. Solid bitterness and balance with noticeable rye flavor. The rye and hop bitterness worked well with either not overpowering each other. Light fruits and esters with bread-like malts and earthy hop tones.

Pours a decent yellow si, oh yes, with a nose of banana-thin body odor hops. Flavor is a full-on assault of grapefruit rind, orange rind, and grapefruit pulp. Nice but light mouthfeel. I see his stripes andI know he’s clean; oh, can’t you see what I mean?
