(bottle - 22 oz) Cloudy orange pour with a fizzy white head. Lots of sweetness and citrus in the aroma with a good amount of pine resin and rye dryness under it. Flavor is really nice. Tons of citrus at the start with a bitter and sticky pine hop middle. Lots of fruit and rye dryness and bitterness at the finish. Really smooth and easy to drink.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 BMMillsy (717) - Florida, USA - JUN 2, 2013
UPDATED: JUN 5, 2013 From trade. Pours cloudy yellowish orange with a big fluffy white head. Stuffed up right now, but getting some orange zest, lemon, and grapefruit. Not a whole lot of smell here. Big up front bitter, some citrus. Not a lot going on, and I don’t pick up much rye in aroma or taste. Medium mouthfeel with medium high carbonation. Honestly this is pretty bland. Not a bad beer, but expected more from FFF. This seems to have a similar profile to Panzer Wolf, which I also found to be bland. Just give me the Dreadnaught
