Bottle @ Stephen’s house. Pours a reddish brown appearance with a thin tan head. A bit of cherry, light acetic, tangy aroma with some caramel. Somewhat tart. Dark cherry, molasses, light apple flavor. Not horrendous but kind of strange.

Bottle at home with friends, courtesy of Aaron. Thanks man! Pour is murky brown with a small head that quickly dissipated. Tangy, caramelly, brown sugar, red fruits, cherry skins, and raspberry in the aroma. Taste is orange juice, raspberries, brown sugar, tangy, dark fruity, and oaky with a medium sour finish. Medium body with high carboantion. Pretty cool stuff.

Pour is dark brownish black with tan head, aroma is cocoa, roast, coffee, hints of nice roasted sugars, hints of dark fruits. Taste is a mix of dark chocolate, roast, coffee, hints of dark sugar finishing dry, sweet. This is pretty nice, but nothing over the top.

Strong sour apple taste. Nice clean finish. For a dark sour this is really good. Like consecration good.

bottleshare thanks to Beechner224. Bottle 65. Apparently not as good as bottle 64. Smell of cherries and pie. Taste is a lot more puckering than aroma would lead me to believe.

Bottle in trade. 65 of 525. Pours a clear brown. No head. Aroma of sour, tart, some oak tannins. Taste is tart, mildly lip puckering, then fades away. Not the most sour, but tartness is nice.

Bottle 65/525...share thanks to beechner224. Pours a very dark translucent brown color. Big sour aroma, tart, caramel and toffee malt character follows. Very sour up front, quite acidic, moderate sweetness, some mild caramel malt character but sourness dominates.

Very solid sour brown ale. I lack the ability to describe the aroma but the flavor is tart, some sugary sweetness. Tasty stuff

Lukaduke (1992) - Portland, Maine, USA - JAN 19, 2014
Bottled shared by JBPortland ! Pours a hazy brown sienna color with a touch of bubble. The nose is tart yogurt, leather and caramel. The palate is pretty dull with a contrast of composted sour fruit and malted honey and caramel. Complexity of leather and some wet wood but a bit disjointed and weird.

750ml bottle pours dark brown with small finger of head. Nose is sour nutty dark fruits and musty wood. Taste is tart cola, dark cherry, musty oak, vanilla. Finish is sour dark fruits, acidic, cola. OK.
