COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With the same grim determination and American innovation that President Jack Kennedy showed when propelling us to victory in the space race, we at Three Floyds bring you Space Station Middle Finger. Both bright and citrusy this pale ale deserves to be in orbit.

Pint draught in a FFF shaker glass. Appearance is clear orange color with medium, off-white head. Nose is dominated by the citrus--especially grapefruit and orange but also some passion fruit. Taste is malty sweetness with a fruity character balanced by a nice citrus hop bite. Palate is medium-bodied, slick texture, average carbonation, and a dry finish.

From bomber. Pours a clear medium gold with a one-finger foamy white head. Nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus (orange, not just grapefruit) fruits. Taste has a notable bitterness over a pleasant malt base. Medium mouthfeel. Slight bitterness in the finish. Not a heavy beer.

Bottle, courtesy of a kind soul... shared in a location remote of my dining room.
Pours a sort of pale orange color with a big head and nice lacing on the glass.

The aroma is sort of fruity with some bug spray stuff happening. It’s pungently hoppy, aside from the bug spray... very nice smelling with some grapefruit and orange stuff going on.

The flavor is just mildly bitter, moderately dry, and big on juicy fruity hop character... most especially grapefruit.

Shared bomber, pint glasses. Medium gold appearance, medium head. Medium malt, hop, and bitterness. All those mediums add up to a nice American pale ale.

1 pt 6 fl oz bottle from Mikkeller webshop. Clear orange amber colour, off-white foam head and aroma of juicy citrus mandarin, tropical fruit mango, orange blossom. Taste is orange, tangerine, hoppy with malt caramel and slightly spicy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, lingering bitter finish. Very drinkable APA.

One of several Three Floyds releases that I picked up back in November, this beer held out the longest. Even then it managed to pack quite a punch for a month old pale ale. A typical FFF release hits you in the face with bitterness and then follows it up with more aggressiveness until the last drop.

Aroma / Appearance - A caramel semitransparent core sparkles with a slow falling cream colored head for company. Wood shavings, resin, and the bitterness of a typical Floyd’s hop bill grate the senses with a focused intensity.

Flavor / Palate - Bitter resin, pine sap, and tea leaves stick to the tongue with a sharp bitterness that immediate settles in the throat. Taking up residence, it only grows over the course of a few sips. Even until the last drop the hop profile is what takes center stage for a well balanced release that should be tried fresh and as close to the source as possible. If I could get this on draft locally I might grab some without a second thought.

Shared by Karl .. . lots of citrus and summer fruit .. mild mouth .. . a quick yet responsive finish .. a nice beer, clean .. . .
cool trick: if you drink that stuff they put in glow necklaces and then expose your urine to UV light, you’ll have massive internal bleeding and die

[Tap] Bright orange in color with a rocky white head. Good looking lacing is left on the glass as you drink it. Nice nose of florals, tropical fruits and lighter notes of citrus. Flavors of orange, tangerine, resin, sweet caramel and lingering sweet fruit notes. Prickly carbonation. Kind of syrupy, but in a good way.
