Pours amber with a medium lt tan head. Aroma has some spicy grapefruit and piney notes...a touch of sweet malt backing. Flavor has sweet caramely maly and some earthy/piney hoppiness...very hoppy...slightly medicinal. Mouthfeel is medkum/full and lively with a very bitter and dry piney finish...medicinal.

Sampled at the pub. Nice aroma some pine hops. But that maltiness is a bit heavy. Bitter and sweet strong malts caramel toasted and too sweet. Ok.

Aroma is fantastic citrus and resin hops with some floral notes. Taste is a bit astringent with the yeast fighting with the hops. I didnt get the great balance here that i normally get with FFF. Still a really nice beer but the astringent yeast made things convoluted.

Big no huge thanks to mike m. Very hoppy and belgiany. The Belgian aspects are just in aroma and the beginning of the flavor, finishes ipa.

Bottle with Simon, James, and Keith. Aromas of fresh and severely dank hops, nelson, melon, and grapefruit. Taste is cheesy and pined out hops, pineapple, melons, kiwi, and only a slight bit of belgian yeast. Bitter finish but works well with this beer. 3F never made a bad beer.

22 oz bomber poured into a duvel tulip. Pours a copper amber orange with a thick 2 inch off white head that slowly recedes and leaves great lacing. Aroma is tropical fruit. Pineapple, grapefruit, mango, lemon, fresh cut grass, earth, bread, and caramel. Super complex, maybe one of the most complex DIPA’s as far as aroma goes. Taste is similar. Lots of pineapple, mango, grapefruit, lemon, and a hint of Belgian yeast. Mouthfeel is medium and chewy and alcohol is well hidden. This is like dreadnaught with Belgian yeast. Awesome beer.

This is really tasty - on tap at brew pub. Not a lot of aroma, and pours golden with little head, although good lacing. Great hop bitterness and the Beglain yeast gives it a unique, pleasing flavor. Very creative and enjoyable.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a hazy cloudy, super sediment heavy orange brown- ugly beer. The nose and taste wher sweet, malty, and euro-hopped. This beer was not for me. Not sure if I got a bad bottle or what. Truth be told the yeastiness really killed this beer for me. Way to chunky.
