COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION A collaboration/dedication ale brewed with our friend Urbain from the Belgian brewery De Struise, this intense Belgian-style double IPA was fermented with Urbainís special yeast and then an amazing amount of hops were added. Bottle split at Bruceís pad, thanks to Paulo, 27/03/14. Hazed orange amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is juicy hops, pine resin, bitter orange, caramel malt, pineapple chunks. Taste comprises bitter orange pithdom, pine bite, sweet lickings, candied orange peel, straw, earthy hops. Medium + body, fine carbonation, light booze laced tropicana in the finale. Decent DIPA if a touch overly boozey.

A confused beer with lack of balance between the two styles. Belgian styles comes through a little more then the ipa style. Being a hop head wished it had a bigger hop nose on it.

Draft. Amber color with a whit head. Soft citrus and pine hop smells. Bitter hop that fades to malt then explodes to a killer bitterness.

A: Pours a hazy copper, dark orange in color. Nice thick head with good head retention. S: Juicy grapefruit, orange, pine, and fresh cut apple. Some cream, soapiness, and mild alcohol heat is detectable. Smells fresh and tropical. T: Upfront you get bready then some grapefruit, orange, pine, and hints of lemon. Didnít really get anyone of that Belgian character, perfectly okay with me. M: Medium-full bodied, crisp. O: A pretty solid beer, not one that I will really crave however.

Cloudy orange pour with a single finger head. Smells sweet with citrus and decaying fruit. Full mouth. Bitter taste with a long candy like finish. Some slight funk. Dry and just a little too bitter. Some sweetness would benefit this a bit. Big time lace.

22oz bottle from Downer Wine and Spirits. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a white head and lots of lacing. Aroma is hoppy, grassy, floral, pine. Medium on the palate with creamy carbonation. Flavor is sweet, malty, breay, cereal, some light Belgian yeast, pine hops, a little citrus, grapefruit, with a light, yeasty, bitter finish. Very Nice.
