A super bitter and hoppy beer. Really easy to drink. Pours an orange in color. Ha at the brew pub. Really bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from rxeight - thanks! Bottling date 02/10/2014. Pours hazy amber with a large beige head that dissipates slowly and laces well. Aroma has notes of pine, citrus, caramel, and some spicy yeast going. Flavor is about the same, fairly malty, medium sweet, light bitter, and a definite Belgian feel. Decent enough, but not really out of the box. Medium plus body, creamy mouthfeel.

Bottle pour. Poured a clear amber with a big white head of foam with lengthy retention. The aroma has a lot of malty and orange zest character. The taste is mostly rich, sweet malts with a slight drying bitterness toward the finish. Medium carbonation and big body.

Interesting DIPA. Aroma is lost on my stuffed up sinuses. Medium-orange color. Taste is lots of citrus and grapefruit with an interesting Belgian yeast and fruit touch added to the slightly sweet malt. Tasty, and for a good cause.

Bomber. Pours a hazy, burnt orange, medium white head with iffy retention and lacing. Nose is tropical fruit (full disclosure... I’ve got a cold) orange peel, bready malts, pine. Mouth is medium-full, more of those fruity hops from the nose, bittersweet malts, bitter finish. Not the most memorable 3Fs brew, but not horrible, and proceeds benefit a good cause.

Bottle @ tasting, courtesy of kermis. Pours a clear amber beer with a very big, white head on top that leaves nice lacing on the rim of the glass. Aroma is very citrussy, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange and has this slight touch of Belgian yeast in the background. Flavor is nice and bitter, with big grapefruit influences playing a role here. The Belgian yeast is certainly present, smoothing it all down a bit. Long, dry bitter finish. Very nice!

On tap at Dexters, pours a clear amber orange with an off white head and nice legs and lacing in the glass, the aroma is nice, tons of citrus and spice with tropical fruit as well, the flavor has an awesome amount of tropical fruit and citrus on the front end with a bitter finish and spice, very bitter but still not overpowering, smooth mouthfeel, liking the fact this isn’t turned up to 10%, good stuff.

Fresh bottle. Pours muddy orange with minimal tan head. Typical DIPA aromas - slightly floral, citrus fruits, pine. Taste is the same. Caramel, roasted malt hits hard. Bitter (simcoe?) finish. Not bad at all.
