COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION A collaboration/dedication ale brewed with our friend Urbain from the Belgian brewery De Struise, this intense Belgian-style double IPA was fermented with Urbain’s special yeast and then an amazing amount of hops were added. What a great ale/double IPA specialty beer. Nice tight foam head & strong alcohol taste. Brewed in memory of a 3Floyds employee who must be great full for this impressive brew.

22 oz bomber poured into a duvel tulip. Pours a copper amber orange with a thick 2 inch off white head that slowly recedes and leaves great lacing. Aroma is tropical fruit. Pineapple, grapefruit, mango, lemon, fresh cut grass, earth, bread, and caramel. Super complex, maybe one of the most complex DIPA’s as far as aroma goes. Taste is similar. Lots of pineapple, mango, grapefruit, lemon, and a hint of Belgian yeast. Mouthfeel is medium and chewy and alcohol is well hidden. This is like dreadnaught with Belgian yeast. Awesome beer.

Pours an orange amber with a medium white head. Aroma is incredibly hoppy despite the spicy belgian yeast with lots of citrus and floral notes. The taste is citrus and floral hops with spicy belgian yeast and notes of bubblegum. Holy shit this beer rocks. I’ve personally never had a Belgian beer that was able to maintain this level of hoppiness. Well done.

4/20/12. On tap at FFF. 6 dollar tulip. Cloudy, near opaque orange-tan. Big massive steady head. Awesome tropical hop meets Belgian yeast aroma. Creamy thick yeasty body. This is the best Belgian IPA I’ve ever had. Wow. Sort of like Arctic Panzer Wolf with Belgian yeast. Cooling hop flavor perfectly balances the big body. Orange, grapefruit, tangerine...huge citrus tones. World Class,..out of the world. Absolute beast.

S: dark amber, very thick collar that remains, lots of lacing A: sweet, sticky smell, tropical, papaya, enticing T: sweet start going to dry, bitter quickly, but levels out quickly as well, lots of hops balanced with smooth malts, medium to long finish O: this beer is awesome ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle with Simon, James, and Keith. Aromas of fresh and severely dank hops, nelson, melon, and grapefruit. Taste is cheesy and pined out hops, pineapple, melons, kiwi, and only a slight bit of belgian yeast. Bitter finish but works well with this beer. 3F never made a bad beer.

Live a Rich Life, have been saving this since it was first released. Wow, aroma is hops forward, spice, grapefruit and citrus, taste is citrus, grapefruit, bittersweet, Belgian yeast, wow! short to medium aftertaste, alcohol is somewhat present but pleasing. Good beer! Would definitely recommend. Also some nice spice! FFF knows how to make APA’s but there DIPA’s are amazing!

Light, hoppy, citrus aroma. Taste is so light and delicate. Tons of hops, citrus, floral, pine, grapefruit. Beautiful.

Fresh on tap. A big, fruit forward IPA with some nice Belgian zest that represents both brewers' strengths.
