COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION A collaboration/dedication ale brewed with our friend Urbain from the Belgian brewery De Struise, this intense Belgian-style double IPA was fermented with Urbainís special yeast and then an amazing amount of hops were added. This beer was brewed in loving memory of a former employee, Rich Sheppard, who recently passed away, a portion of the proceeds from this beer will go to his family. Try this beer and enjoy the Rich life

Non Beer Trip Beer Trip Beer #47. Keg at the brewpub, 3/10/16. Clear amber, large creamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of floral, herbal hops, pale malt, mild yeast. The taste is herbal, piney, floral hops, pale malt, mild fruitiness. Medium bodied, strong lingering bitterness.

Muddy orange-amber with good, fine-bubble head, light lacing / Big, fruity nose of citrus, caramel, pine / Medium to full body, sweet, fruity, big hops and biting, very bitter finish / Flavors of grapefruit, orange, pine, lots of caramel / Big in hopping and fruit, but ultimately ungainly, even amateurish, failing to come together into anything close to a balanced whole.

on tap @ Hebron Brew Haus / Hebron KY --- Aroma of malt and peach. Clear dark maple amber color, white head, hanging strings of lace. Taste is sweet malt and toffee, then more malt, along with peach and yeast in a medium carbonated swallow, then light hops to finish. A really solid Begian with a good hop finish; I donít know about Imperial IPA.

Aroma is pine, cream/vanilla, sugar/candy/Belgian yeast and citrus. The flavor is citrus, Belgian yeast, vanilla/cream, malts and a mix of bitter, tart and slightly sweet funk in the finish. A style I donít care for, not surprised FFS made a really good one.

Not really into Belgian IPAs. But, I do like this one. Pours a cloudy orange with aromas of yeast and citrus. Fruity, citrusy, yeasty. As it warms the Belgian really emerges. Great representation of the style.

Belgian IPAs arenít usually my favorite, but this one is pretty good. Assertive citrus and candy hoppiness, spicy belgian yeastiness. Picked up in Chicago in 2016.

Tap at warpigs, copenhagen. Copper color, white head. Nice aroma has caramel, hops, sweet notes, some tropical fruits. Great taste has fruitiness, big hops, belgian style sweet notes, dry hoppy end. Great balance.
