Had at DLD 2010 and again 2013. This is a lawnmower beer if there ever was one for a hophead. Insanely hopped, but super light on the palate and taste. Nothing special, but for a rice beer, one of the bests I have had.

Draft at DLD - pours gold with white head. Nose is borderline carpiss. Balanced. Refreshing.

On tap at FFF. Pour is golden yellow with a small white head that fades almost instantly. Aroma is on the sweet sight with notes of lemon peel, flowers, and grass. Flavor is more on the grainy side with a slightly aggressive hop finish. Clean and well balanced. Good.

Draft at CCB during Hunahpu Day 2013 with Andrew, Maggi and Geoff. Pours a light amber golden body with light white lacing. Aroma is sweet, floral and light hop. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of sweet malt, sweet citric hops, flowers and light spice. Nice.

Hunahpu Day pour #3. Pours a clear yellow without much head. Aroma is sweet candy, lemon, floral smells. Different for sure. Flavor is strange. Sort of like drinking light flowers. Honey sweet up front, but very light and not cloying. Grows on me as I go.very light mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Actually pretty interesting. Good summer beer.

On tap at ccb hunahpu. Pour is a cloudy wheaty yellow gold. Has a very unique aftertaste that is really good. Better than the initial lemon Grassy hit you get as soon as it touches your lips. Mellow beer that id love to have again.

Rice ale with prominant but not aggressive hop taste. Nice color. Very drinkable beer but probably wont be found outside the brewery.

Draft on tap at the brewpub (Munster, IN). Pours a richly glowing darker golden pour, some lively orange flashes, darker body with good carbonation. Cakey offwhite head sits atop, mellow layer, ok lacing overall. Gentle haze, striking glow with a darkness in the body. Good mellow head cap. Aromas show mellow bread, gentle grass, grainy malts. Some clean malts, gentle earthy hop is subtle. Mellow rice, straw, kiss of florals, lemon. Initial is lighter end of the fold, touch of girth in the middle. Bready, grainy malts are mellow, rice adds clean malt, mellow, touches of lemon, grass, kiss of lemon cookie. Gentle straw, grass, wet grain and a bit of dough. Gentle dry earthy hops, kiss of lemon, mellow distinct sweetness offfers some life that I just can’t pinpoint. Gentle florals, grass. A mellow easily crushable offering with just a touch of body, some hop flourishes, clean body that gets a touch lemon cookie-ish. Not bad but I prefer their other Rice experiments more it seems.
