22 oz. bottle purchased at Dark Lord Day 2013. Pours a semi-cloudy amber color with a small off-white ring for a head. Aroma of oak, apples, caramel, and mild spices. Flavor of honey, spice, candy apples, and a whole lot of oak. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet, chewy mouthfeel. Seems like more fruits are revealing themselves after a while, too; peach, tropical fruits? Strange beer; not quite sure what they’re going for with this one.

Bottle thanks to charule. Pours a reddish brown. The aroma is just like Voodoo Lairds Apple Brandy Gran Met. Not expected. Smells like a caramel sour apple. Tastes a bit sour and a bit of maple. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma is apples, alcohol, caramel. Taste is a lot like smell, tons of caramel, apple, dry oak. Alcohol is pretty well masked. Interesting beer, not what I was expecting for a Belgian Pale.

22oz bottle, shared by phaleslu. Hazy darker orange - red color. Thin off-white head. Some dots of lace. Odd, kind of pale tropical fruit note, some pear in the nose. Some malty hop, caramel malt. medium body, lighter soft smoother carbonation. Lightly dry texture. Light tart, some bitter taste. Lightly vinegary, I see the crab-apple.. Weird as hell, but I have to give an extra point for being so odd and unique. Hides the alcohol well, too. Something about it reminds me of a coastal breeze, I don’t know..

On tap at Small Bar. Pours a clear golden orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a strong bitter green grape and dry wine with a bit of underlying sweet dark grains. Flavor starts with tart green apple and finish has a bit of green apple, strong Chardonnay and a bit of toffee/chocolate.
