Draft 8 oz. "mini-shaker" at 3Fs. Thin but noticeably brown head atop a porter to stout dark body. A sharp coffee smell I haven’t found in the Baltic strain of porter before. Flavor is strong with coffee hard candies, but still a bit of lager cleanness. Threads of semi-sweet chocolate chips. Can’t say it goes down easy; I had to wrestle it a little. But when it finally yields, it does so nicely.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Black pour with a brown head. The aroma and flavor have a lot of roasted malt and chocolate notes, with not a whole lot else going on. That is alright though because what flavor and aroma the beer does have is very nice. Medium to thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Pours a deep dark brown, pretty much black with big light tan head. Roasted malt and chocolate aroma. Dark malt, chocolate flavors, and some nice roast ones. Very tasty porter.

Pitch black pour, with not too much head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee. Taste is roasted malt, mild coffee, but something sticks out, not sure what it is. Just alright.

Bottle share thanks to drewface. Light chocolate on the nose. Minimal light brown head. No hops. Weird for a FFF beer. Full mouthfeel semi sweet finish. Slightly vinous but could use a touch more complexity.

22oz bomber shared by Ed5388 during Belgian Pumpkin brew day. Poured a medium density dark black body with a silky tight foamy beige head. Aroma of light chocolate, licorice, touch of veggies and alcohol. Full big body with average carbonation a slightly lingering aftertaste. Flavor of soy sauce, cola, dark fruit and a touch of dark chocolate.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22oz bomber. Pours a rich dark chocolate color with a finger of creamy tan head. Aromas of chocolate, light roasted malts, and earthy hops. Taste is pretty similar. Nothing too spectacular. Some chocolate notes, again light roasted malts, almost no coffee, caramel, and an earthy finish.

Bottle thanks to queenholly. English pint shows a pitch black liquid without head. Nose has a great level of roasted malt, roasted grain and peanut shells. Real rich flavors of chocolate malt, dry roasted coffee with a long, drying finish with the ABV totally hidden. The mouthfeel is full, lush and creamy. Really damn nice brew.
