4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft 8 oz. "mini-shaker" at 3Fs. Thin but noticeably brown head atop a porter to stout dark body. A sharp coffee smell I haven’t found in the Baltic strain of porter before. Flavor is strong with coffee hard candies, but still a bit of lager cleanness. Threads of semi-sweet chocolate chips. Can’t say it goes down easy; I had to wrestle it a little. But when it finally yields, it does so nicely.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle pours black with firm tan head. Aroma malty with slight roast. Fairly sweet dark caramel taste with molasses, slight coffee, cocoa. Medium body. Finish slightly bitter but not overly so.
Nice Baltic Porter, more delicate than I expected given Three Floyds reputation for aggressive beers.

A nice session imperial stout. Lots of chocolate, coffee and some coffee grounds. Quite sweet for a Baltic porter.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
very small roastiness, quite a bit of chocolate malt. Very easy going 9.5% not really feeling it, but a balanced nice stout with a balanced focused flavour more so than extreme. Drinkable, but not a favourite.
