65cl, no mention of ABV, exclusive American brew, thx to Secret Santa!, complex dry Porter, malty/roasted and slightly spicy/sweet, balanced, hazy, small head, good brew, yet very expensive!

Tap. Aroma is fairly subtle, chocolate and molasses with some coffee and a touch of sweetness. Pours black, brown head with average retention, little lacing. Amazing malt profile, rich with chocolate, caramel, toffee, and molasses. Low bitterness, slightly sweet finish. Medium to full body, smooth and creamy texture. Very nice.

Bomber to taster (thanks tmoney99). Looks good; a mostly opaque reddish-brown with light beige lacing. Smells and tastes malty and a little roasty with coffee notes and a good mouthfeel. A good example of the style.

Pours a dark brown with no head. Aroma of coffee and dark fruit. Flavor includes some toffee, some chocolate, some plum and berry flavors, and a good dose of coffee as well. Does seem a bit on the thin side as far as mouthfeel, etc. Pretty tasty beer that’s great for sipping.

Dark pour, thin head. No lace. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and roast. Full bodied mouth and very creamy. Taste is full of coffee and chocolate. The roast component is surprisingly not that bitter.

Had on tap the FFF Explosion for Brixie’s 78th Anniversary. Served in a snifter.
A: Pours a dark black with thick khaki colored head forming on the pour. It recedes slowly to a thick collar that leaves some splotchy lace.
S: Light roasted malts with a touch of chocolate and light sweetness.
T: Roasted malts with bitter baker’s chocolate and a light coffee bean. The finish has some dark fruits and malt sweetness. A touch of bitterness is also present on the backend.
M: Medium bodied with a nice full flavor and creamy mouthfeel. The finish is roasty and dry with a nice medium carbonation.
O: A very solid baltic porter. Not overly complex, but the flavors all compliment each other.
Serving type: on-tap
