Rich reddish copper body beneath an ample froth of white head. Big rush of citrus and pine hops worthy of a 3F brew. Notes of caramel malt. Medium to full body with a smooth feel. Refreshing citrusy bitterness in the flavor. Quite good.

On tap at the brewpub
Hazy coppery red with a dense spunge cake lookin white head.
Huge fruity and piney hop aromas. A bit of bready malt.
Same in the flavor. Very citrus and spicy. A touch of sweetness. Smooth.
Medium body. Average carbonation. Dry finish.
What a really nice beer! Serve this with CO2 and it will probably be insane. Highly reccomended!.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 BBB63 (5411) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - NOV 16, 2007
Tap at Floyds (Nitro), Imperial pint glass: Slightly hazy coppery hue with a creamy white head and very good lace. The aroma has notes of grapefruit and pear esters, grassy, herbal, and slight resiny hops along with bready and dusty vapours. The taste starts with a nice sharp bitterness with acidic fruit and leafy presence. Dusty yeast and pale malt background. The mouth feel is a tad chewy and sharp around the edges, medium-bodied and dry finish. All in all a solid IPA which is different than either Alpha King or BrooDoo. Too bad it is on nitro however.

Draught at Floyds. Dark, dark brown for an IPA. Inch-tall creamy nitro head. Piney and grassy fresh hop smell. Still, a relatively low hop load (60 IBU) for a Floyds brew. Grassy, piney, probably Amarillo or Summit. Just a little hop aftertaste. Light coat of sticky crystal and caramel malt. Slightly watery mouthfeel from nitro, of course, but still carries a hearty texture.

sampled at maproom. a nitroed ipa. i don’t get it. why? this had an extremely creamy body and was really smooth. a great fresh PNW hop flavor. i bet this would be much better un-nitrogenated.

This was a good IPA with a nice hoppy and citrus taste to it with a nice finish that was not overwhelming or to bitter, overall a nice beer brewed by Travis and CHEERS to Nick for giving him the chance to put a mark in FFF brewing history.
