COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Imperial Brett IPA fermented with the unique strain of yeast Brettanomyces Lambicus. This yeast creates earthy barnyard notes along with pineapple-cherry pie aromas and flavors. Of course with the "IPA" style it’s hopped heavily. Simcoe and Chinook are the culprits for the "Cat peed on the Christmas tree" aroma.

Bottle... Pours cloudy and golden with a small, fleeting, fizzy, white head. The bouquet is super fruity – peach, mostly – and without nearly as much of the simcoe-induced, cat piss component I was expecting. Medium-bodied with dancing carbonation. The flavor is remarkably well-balanced and fruity. Bittersweet, featuring light, acrid and acidic notes. Finishes crisp and moderately bitter with an accidental burp of peachiness following my final sip. Bottle courtesy of the ever-generous ctipping!

750ml bottle pours all clear copper with an off white head. Citris Brett and sliced pineapple taste very enjoyable.

Bottle date 6/24/13. Pour is hazy yellow orange with a enormous gushing white head. Aroma is lemon zest, brett, orange, and wheat grain. Flavor is barnyard, brett, lemon, pineapple, and earth. Finish has more pale ale qualities.

Orange-waxed bottle courtesy of a PUB’R operative. Pours turbid dark straw with fizzy off-white head. Nose was heavy resiny hops, some yeasty tartness, tropical fruit. The palate was complex and lively, with flavors of tangerine, pineapple, a big Simcoe hop bill, yeasty funk. My only beef was that it was a bit weird in the funkiness late, with the funky yeasty notes seeming to clash with the hops.

Une fabuleuse épopée d’ananas sur savon bretteux, très juteux, bonne amertume, corps bien aéré, buvabilité extatique.

Bottle. Pours a hazed orange with a small, off white head. Aroma is funky, catty, with pineapple and dusty basement aromas. Tropical fruit, mango, some wood and cherry aromas. Flavor is dry, bitter, with lots of funk and fruity hops. Mild sweetness from the fruity hops, but otherwise funky and bitter. Full bodied, average carbonation. Finishes bitter and funky.

Bomber. Poured cloudy golden with an off-white head. The aroma picked up meaty pineapple and bready notes with catty and orangey hop accents.. some funky Brett too. The flavor found orange meat, honey, and bready malts with peppery notes, orange zest, and funky Brett around.. finished spicy with lots more Brett. Heavier-bodied with lots of carbonation.. spicy and warm.. nice one.

Light golden pour fluffy white head bottle gusher. Almost a pilsy aroma slightly sweet lots of citrus pretty balanced. Avg palate. Flavor is lots of citrus and a ton of floral hops. Smaller than I’d expect for a double. Good not great

Bottle. Beautiful wax job going on. Pours a hazy orange beer with a medium sized white head on top. Aroma has subtle touches of oak, apple, light Brett. Hops are faded out in the background unfortunately. Flavor is great mix between the two styles. Easy, light bitter flavors mixed with a subtle acidic touch. Even some sweet malt going on in the body. Aftertaste is nice and bitter, grassy and pine. Impressive and interesting, however, I’d expected more from these two great breweries.
