Absurd. Pours dark gold, light white head. Apricot tangerine sweet tart nose. Old citrus rind, flavor is big and sweet, tastes like a spree candy. So sweet & big.

Pours thick hazy orange with a decent creamy white head. Aroma is perfect, sweet fresh squeezed oranges do potent in the nose. Starts out and ends super dry, too much for me for on the palate. There are bitter oranges and orange zest on the tongue with a smooth but potent body.

Tap. Hazy and deep golden body with an average off-white, lacing head. Aroma of citrus fruits, peach tropical fruits and pine. Sweet flavor that ends up dry and nice bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carb. An excellent DIPA.

Draught @ Mikkeller&Friends. Pours hazy orange with a lasting and lacing thick creamy off-white medium head. Aroma is quite malty and quite tropical fruity with pineapple, papaya, lemon grass, grapefruit, grass, pepper, caramel, pine, cheese and elderflower. Taste is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is moderate. Finishes bitter and light sweet with crackers and hops.

Draft. Pours a hazy bronze with a thicker khaki head that settles to a film and leaves cascading stripes of foamy lace. Nose involves some dirty earthy stuff, apricot jam, heavy caramel, and filthy yeast. Really sweet spoiled fruit flavor, pretty bitter also, but quite a bit more sweet. Medium to full bodied, oily, softer carb, with a earthy, leafy, weedy hop bitter finish that scrapes your tongue dry. No comment.

30-JUN-2014, draft @Mikkeller. Hazy orange with lsting yellow head. Aroma is sweet hops. Extremely bitter and fruity. grape fruit, pine, orange peel. Taste the same with the addition of loads of over ripe exotic fruits. Pineapple, orange peel. Sweet, very bitter. Fantastic IIPA.

Soft tropical nose with some citrus. Decent light orange. Thick foamy white head and big bubbles. A minus. Great complex mouthfeel. Velvety start then the hops take over. Malty notes first. Lots of them. Then a dry hoppy finish. Decent.

What can I say that I haven't already said about every 3F DIPA. Very rich and hazy golden/copper with a thin ring of head and no lacing. Nose is all citrus. Pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, and a bit of caramel malt. A decent hop presence. Mouth is very bitter and citrusy up front. The grapefruit is very much there, but there is almost no presence of any sweetness. Leaves a slightly resinous and bitter finish that lingers.
