22oz bottle poured into an IPA glass. The aroma is crazy sweet with tangerine, pineapple, honeydew, and honey notes as well as a mild woody pine as the head settles. The beer is lightly hazy and oily with an orange gold hue and topped by an off white soapy foam head that has mild retention and very light lace. The taste is a high-medium bitter and a high sweetness. The syrupy texture has a foamy carbonation and a medium full with notes of bitter citrus, bread crust, and a mild dank herb. The finish is crisp with a zest and notes of tropical fruit, melon, and honey, and some undertones of bread crust. Thereís a dry, mildly cloying aftertaste with bitter grapefruit and dry pine.

22 ounce bottle, bottled on 10/05/2015. Served in a tulip, the beer pours a hazy amber/orange color with a couple inch frothy off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. I like the aroma, the brew smells like citrusy (tropical fruit, melon, apricot) and pine hops, along with some sweet malt. I think the taste is pretty much like the aroma, but thereís also some herbal hops and tangerines noticeable. Itís a fruitier DIPA, the bitterness isnít too strong in this one. Mouthfeel/body is medium, itís a bit creamy and coating, and is well carbonated. I liked this, itís certainly worth picking up if youíve never tried it before.

Super hazy golden coloured body with a decent, two centimetre tall tan head and a slight orange glow. Aroma of rich sticky hops with a tropical fruit scent, some good malts and a lot of alcohol and sugars noticeable as well. Full-bodied; Rich malty mouthful with a good tropical fruit and grassy hop flavour that shows well. Aftertaste shows a light apricot and orange flavour with a little sweetness, and some noticeable hops. Overall, nothing that shows up as a great Imperial IPA and a decent one for sure, but nothing more than that. If you peeled this label off and put on an unknown brewery, it would get far less favourable scores. Please donít go out of your way or spend a ton of money like I did (on both accounts) to get this beer - youíll be disappointed. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from King Richard Wine & Spirits in Michigan City, Indiana on 09-September-2015 for US$10,99 sampled at home in Washington on 20-September-2015, just eleven days after purchase.

22 oz. bomber. Poured burnt orange with thin white head that dissipated quickly. Big malt, caramel sweetness, complex mix of orange, grapefruit, and resinous pine. Touch boozy. Dry finish. Been a while since my last but seemed like an aged Dreadnaught. Very solid, just not quite my style IIPA.
