22oz bottle poured into nonic. Hazy golden-orange with floaties and a stiff finger plus of white head that lasts nearly the entire drink. Some streaky lacing. Aroma is citrus hop, grapefruit, bready malt, maybe a hint of caramel. Taste is medium bitterness with citrus and floral notes, spicy rye (some say onion; I don’t get that), and light sweetness from that bready/caramel character. Medium bodied, slick, resinous texture, moderate to soft carbonation, bitter drying finish.

Shared bomber poured to snifters, displaying a cloudy, orangey gold color, with a quickly diminishing, off white head to a bubbly ring and some film, with ribbons & spots of lacing. The nose was dank, yeasty, & earthy, with fleeting hints of vinegar & wet cardboard, and fruit as dried apricots. Medium bodied, with moderate carbonation, the taste offered an initial dose of malty, caramel sweetness, then attacked the palate with a strong & lingering astringency that continued through the finish, combined with tartness, and alcohol warmth. Interesting, somewhat abrasive, but not on my repeat list.

Bottle. Why not bottle date these? Seems to be fresh but who knows. Pours a deep orange to brown. Aroma is a very nice peach that is outstanding. Taste is sadly more malt forward IPA from 3F. Zombie Dust is still the only hoppy thing that they seem to dial in.

Pours a hazy golden hue with a thin white head. Aroma is alcohol and bubblegum. Mild carbonation in that mouth. Taste is citrus and alcohol with a bitter Belgian-like backend.

Tap: Nearly opaque, radiant copper-amber with lots of soapy, eggshell colored foam grouping up atop the brew, finally reducing to a thin collar after a while. Aroma of Juicy Fruit gum, strong citrus, orange, gooseberry & a light sprinkle of moderately residual malt sweetness that teeters on the edge somewhere right between burnt sugar cookie & light caramel. A touch of mint & grass in the aroma towards the finish. The flavor has lots more grass up front with that huge tropical fruit profile that comes sweeping in. Bouts of tangerine, pineapple, & juicy mango covered in a modest coating of slightly dank pine sap. The finish shows a touch more maltiness with a big, lingering note of sugar coated, candied citrus peel & moderate toffee. Coats the palate nicely but never becomes overbearing. Delicious.

Pours a nice golden color with a thick white head. Citrus aroma. My first reaction when I taste this is booze with a hint of citrus, pine, and resin, with a booze after taste. An ok beer but not one of my favorite FFF’s beers.

Bottle purchased at Blacklick Wine & Spirits. Clear orange pour with a medium white head. Aroma of orange, pine, spice and sweet malt. Malty flavor with stone fruit and orange before a piney hop finish.

Bomber from Kenny Rd Market ($11.99). Murky orange pour with a huge sturdy white head. Aroma is sweet tropical fruit and dank hops. Tastes are big fruit - mango, grapefruit, tea, caramel malt, wood, grass. Little pepper. Long bitter and dry-ish finish. Interesting sipper with lots going on. Wouldn’t have to have again. K liked it a fair bit more than me.

Bomber pours a cloudy orange color with small tight white head and spots of lacing. Aroma is fruity: honeydew and muskmelon, some orange, and resinous hops. Taste is sweet and fruity at first, with dankness noticeable soon after, and some hop bitterness in the finish. Body is medium to full with an oily mouthfeel and slight carbonation. I expected more of a hop bomb from a Three Floyds IIPA, so this one seemed very different and a bit off to me. Interesting, and worth a try, but I’ll keep returning to Dreadnought or Arctic Panzer Wolf instead.

Pour is clear deep amber with a tight white head. Nose is a lot of melon rind, honeydew, and hop oils with a light sweet malt backbone. Taste is similar, hop oils, slick feel, honeydew and melon, a bit dusty, malts are sweeter, flavor is sweeter overall, syrupy body, softer carbonation.

Bomber poured a clear golden amber with a lasting amber head. aromas of biscuit, earthiness, lemon zest, orange zest, grapefruit and light pine. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, grapefruit, orange zest and light tangerine with a smooth dry bitter lingering citrus finish.
