22oz bottle poured into nonic. Hazy golden-orange with floaties and a stiff finger plus of white head that lasts nearly the entire drink. Some streaky lacing. Aroma is citrus hop, grapefruit, bready malt, maybe a hint of caramel. Taste is medium bitterness with citrus and floral notes, spicy rye (some say onion; I donít get that), and light sweetness from that bready/caramel character. Medium bodied, slick, resinous texture, moderate to soft carbonation, bitter drying finish.

I was thrilled to find this. 22 oz bomber pours a cloudy orange, nice white head faded quickly, not much lacing. Pineapple/grapefruit aroma. Taste is fairly sweet and fruity with some bread. Lively carbonation and a bitter finish. At first I wasnít too sure about it, but by it grew. Three Floyds beers are rarities for me. Probably wonít see it again. Itís PFG!

Look - Not see through but not opaque. Dull, darker gold. Pretty thick white head with good lacing. Smell Ė Pineapple or other tropical fruits. Bread. Dank hops. Taste Ė Pineapple transfers to the taste. That transfers to a breast taste that. There is a faint bitter, dank hop taste in the finish. It isnít what I expected but you donít want all of them to be the same. Feel Ė Very smooth and creamy. This is where this beer shines. Overall Ė I like how different it is from other Floyds IPAs. How many ales/IPAs/DIPAs/IIPAs can you make? Pineapple.

Pours a cloudy orange with a lot of slightly off white very active foam. Citrus and grapefruit predominant in the nose. Starts soft and sweet, light fruit and citrus, exploding into a strong hop finish thatís warmed by the alcohol, all of which fades into a slightly bitter aftertaste. Very pleasantly complex double IPA.

Bomber, second time for me, also the freshest Iíve had which is why I wanted to rate. Poured into Fenton Fire Hall house wine glass. Hazy golden orange with soapy white head. Pretty frothy. Smells like orange drink and various jungle fruit hops. Not as pungent as some other fffís brews, still nice. This teeters between a nice mandarin orange and fake as fuck orange tang, leaning heavily to the orange tang side of things. Iím certain they are achieving this naturally (I hope) but its just to tang like and it freaks my palate out. I like it, but I donít love it. Cleanliness and crispness and carb and body are all legit fff standards so there is that too.

22 oz bottle poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Bottled 9/12/2014. Hazy orange color with just over a finger of off-white head. Decent lacing. Aromas of citrus, light tropical fruit, floral notes, biscuit. Tastes of citrus, aged hops, floral notes, caramel, malt, a bit of booze. Medium body with a semi-dry and slightly warm boozy finish.

Bottle: The aroma consists of huge citrus, tropical fruits, dank notes, and grapefruit. It pours a hazy/cloudy dull orange with a small white head that quickly fades to a minimal film outlined by a thin ring. There is some very fine webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with moderate tropical fruits, citrus, mango, and pineapple. The finish has moderate grapefruit, light lemon, dank notes, and pine. Itís light-medium bodied with light-moderate carbonation.

Draft at Mikkeller & Friends. Pours dark orange with a medium white head. Sweet and malty smell, brown sugar, some damp hops. Taste is full and sweet with bread, fruits and hops. Palate is oily and full. Overall a tasteful and complex beer, though a bit boring.
