Congratulations! Welcome to flavor country. This most recent FFFs pale ale has just the malt backbone to support an explosive juicy hop profile derived from a new blend of proprietary hops. Cheers.

Great and easy to drink beer. Citrus and tropical fruit aromas. Golden in color. Light and carbonated palate. Could easily have had more. Grapefruit up front with a rye-like spiciness. Well-balanced.

Bottle pour avg gold with orange highlights and thick white head. Nose big juicy hops, resin, juicy fruit, and light citrus. Taste moderate bitter up front then light citrus. Mid palate hint of grainy malt. Longer light bitter finish. Smells fantastic, wish there was a little more from the nose in the taste. Still a very good beer.

Very cloudy light brown or orange pour with thin mist of white suds on top. Juicy citrus hips, earthy bitter orange malts, hint of sweet estery butter/cotton candy/malt ball. Soft carbonation, frothy thinner mouthfeel, finishes crisp. Mix of herbal menthol and pine hops, spruce, nutty malts. Decent but underwhelming compared to other 3F offerings, flavors mix to a unfortunate butterscotch tinge.

Very good pale ale, its got a nice sweet floral character that sits it apart from so many pale ales around. Certainly not one Id ever turn down...good stuff.

Classic pale ale scent and color. Flavor is slightly sweeter than the average pale ale. A welcome change. Very well done by 3F. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A reasonably fresh bottle picked up while passing through South Bend shows that the Floyd Brothers are still on top of their game. If not for the craft beer explosion leaving me with hundreds of other pale ales to chose for a session this would make a perfect fallback. The blend of hops and flavor does not go too overboard yet still leaves you with more than a full stomach.

Aroma / Appearance - The bronze transparent base and rich white head complement each other well. A fresh bitterness opens with a burst of citrus, grassy fields, and the hop forward profile of a typical Three Floyds release.

Flavor / Palate - Citrus and floral hops blossom over the tongue. Airy, fresh, and open, it continues to hold center ring through a malty middle that binds the bright hop aspects together. If this ever fell below $8.99 a six pack for fresh bottles I would likely grab some to give to people just getting into craft beer for the first time.
