4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
From the bottle this pours a hazy, golden orange color and topped by a small head of off white foam that quickly recedes and leaving streaks of lace on the glass. The aroma is bursting with notes of grapefruit, orange, lemons and resinous hop oils. There is also ample amount of floral hop bitterness to go with the toasted bread malt base and a touch of honey for balance. The flavor follows with the orange, lemon, and grapefruit citrus hop taste up front followed by some toasted caramel malt to lend balance. Medium bodied with effervescent carbonation that leads to a nice and dry finish with the hop bitterness following through. Each sip begs another. This is an awesome pale ale and another winner from the guys at 3 Floyds. Good stuff.

12oz bottled 2-11-14, courtesy of Bytemesis, Thank you! Complex aromas of dried citrus rind, sweat, diesel, fresh cut grass, resinous herbs and florals. Full, rich palate with average carbonation. Big flavors of citrus, pine and mango, intermingled with dried florals. Impressive for a single hop pale!! Basically an IPA in my book. Awesome stuff!!

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
12oz., bottling date 2/11/14, so 9 days ago. Hugely aromatic nose, juicy and fresh, plenty of citrus fruit and hop florals, with notes of orange, tangerine, pineapple, faint toast and a light degree of honey, candied lemon peel and caramel sweetness in the background. Lightly hazy light golden-amber in color with a very fine, lasting head of white. Flavor profile is very nicely balanced between the leafy, fruity, juicy, citric hop flavors, mild degree of toasty malt sweetness, and the light-moderate levels of hop bitterness, drying out nicely at the finish, providing a very refreshing feel. Palate is sufficiently effervescent and refreshing, carries the flavors well, just a touch of resin here and there, and with a medium body. This is the real deal. Absolutely stellar.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
American pale ale
6.4% ABV 60 IBU
APPEARANCE: poured a hazy burnt amber with an off white pillowy head. Lots of sticky lacing.
AROMA: Very dank, herbal and hoppy. Bright fruits, grapefruit lots of lemon. Hints of wet grass, bready malts on the backend.
TASTE: Lots of grapefruit on the front. Very oily like a zombie stirred this with his finger. Citrus notes pop again in the middle with the hops before finishing with Carmel and pale malts.
MOUTHFEEL: medium body with medium carbonation. Slick and oily with snappy finish that leaves you wanting another sip.
OVERALL: I had to keep reminding myself this is a pale ale. It drinks wonderfully and has such a good hop presence that it could be a mellow ipa. Lived up to the hype that surrounds it. The art work is amazing!
RATING: 4.5/5 Zombie Heads!

Bottle from trade. Pours orange gold with ansmall clingy white head. Very nice grapefruit, lime aroma. Taste follows nose, lots of citrus hop flavor, nice pale malt backbone, with just enough sweetness to take the edge off.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
