Slight hazy yellow. Nose is an enormous explosion of tropical fruits, mostly mango, grapefruit, apricot. Also notes of grass, pine, resin. Mouth is similar with tropical fruits, grass, hay, pine and resin. Fantastic!! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours cloudy amber with medium off-white head. Aroma of caramel and pale ale malt, resin, pine, some toffee. Taste is a resin explosion, yet very balanced with both sweet and bitter. Body is light light yet creamy with average carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Beautifully crafted beer from 3 Floyds. Light to moderate hop. Hard to believe this not an IPA. Well done. I’ve had Dreadnaught, and this trumps that.

Pours a clear light golden with 3 finger head that lingersand leaves moderate lacing. Aroma of bright toasted hops, maybe a little biscuit and a huge dose of grapefruit hops. Heavy bitter throughout with long bitter finish. Full body, chewy, slightly oily mouthfeel. This is a great one!

Bottle. Thanks Kevin! Pours hazy amber with a medium white head. Great floral and citrus hop aroma with hints of caramel and tropical fruits. Nice hop flavor of florals, citrus, light tropical fruit and light pine without being overwhelming. Similar finish with more pine coming through. An awesome APA.

12 oz bottle, thanks Ryan. Almost unnoticeably hazy amber; very large white, frothy, rocky head dissipates into a sparse covering and a medium to large ring; heavy lacing. Aroma is warm and toasty with sweet malt, grapefruit, pine sap, and barely a hint of caramel. First taste makes me think this is going to be another unbalanced hop bomb, but over time this thing really smooths out; more pine and citrus here but it gets more drinkable after sitting a bit; very lengthy orange/pine finish with light caramel. Really impressed with the body; heavy carbonation but it’s full and smooth and almost creamy; light stickiness; does thin out a bit after sitting out once the carbonation bleeds out. The 100/100 score on this one suggests a great number of raters are on drugs, but this is outstanding and probably really does deserve 99th-100th percentile in the APA category. (But 100 overall? Come on...) Shame this is so hard to get; guess I’ll have to live with Alpha King...

Bottle pours light orange with two finger head and nice lacing. Aroma mainly of citrus/pine hops. Taste sweet malts with citrus/hop bitterness coming in. Prolonged hoppy finish but not overbearing. I’m not a big hop head but this is pretty good and very refreshing.

Bottled. Pale amber colour, lacy and creamy head. Citrusy, sligly piney and juicy fruity hop nose with blackberry and currant notes. Taste starts with light caramel flavor but it is soon eaten out by bitterness. Lingering, very smoothly bitter finsh. Medium body, super fresh and smooth palte. Dangerously well balanced APA.

Bottle. Hazy rusty orange, with a big fluffy sticky head that laces all the way down. Aroma is well citra hops - citrusy, lemon, peach. Body is node medium malty, slightly sweet but really well balanced. There a lot of single hop citra beer out there but the malt bill here is really really nice. Great APA, but I’m not sure about so e of these crazy numbers this beer is receiving.

-Bursts out of bottle/glass with distinct citrus aroma -Pours a perfect orange -Taste is follows the aroma’s lead but slightly toned down (still very intense for a pale ale!). Surprisingly drinkable despite its intensity.
