Stunning citrus APA, infinite hoppiness with a rich grapefruit character. Would love to drink this every day if it was not that hard to find, one of my holy grail brews!

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Great aroma’s of grapefuit and pine, along the lines of a good IPA. Very easy to drink given the low ABV, but still quite flavourful. Pleasant hazy amber when poured. Quite an enjoyable beer. Thanks to bytemesis for the bottle (and also had at the brewery in Indiana)

Thanks to ThirstyBird for sharing this! Very smooth flowery nose. The beer starts fresh and very minty. Lots of menthol-aroma, citrus, very fresh, great combination. The aftertaste is long, minty-fresh, floral with a moderate bitterness and a smooth sweetish caramel body. A really great brew!!

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught at Local Option, 4/18/14
Mostly clear (slight chill-haze) very pale blonde beer with a small but well-retained white head.
Grass, nectarine, watermelon, orange peel; such things as you’ve come to know (and love?) from ye olde citra hop...Honestly, I’m pretty middle of the pack on my support for citra. It’s fine, probably a lot more aromatic than flavorful. The flavor leans too much towards cat pee, dry, acidic, near-astringent citrics and cheesey, leafy earthiness at its worst. At best, the citrus is still a bit overpowering, though the tropical fruit notes it provides are very enjoyable and can be quite complex.
This pint seemed very fresh and the nose was grassy, dusty, citric and had light pale malt sweetness and doughiness on the backend. Clean, no alcohol and a medium-high to high strength of aroma. Of the IPAs I had this weekend, I will grant that this probably had the freshest, juiciest, strongest aroma. So far so good...
The flavor delivers much of what the nose promises; citrus, grass, soft pale malts, touches of dough and honey. Some light astringency/dullness from either the hops or yeast (though the beer seemed quite bright, so I was a bit surprised by this). Only a touch of resin on the finish, coupled with a moderate amount of bitterness and tons of lemon and orange zest flavor. Mouthfeel is a touch watery, appropriate for a session pale but the carbonation is ample and not overdone while the sugars are well-attenuated. Great beer, very drinkable, well-made.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
12oz bottle poured into a tulip. Pleasing aromas of citrus rind, lemongrass, peaches, and toasted caramel are picked up from the start. After it settles a bit, more of a fresh baked bread crust and tangerine comes through, and even later, the bread crust turns more towards a blackened pizza crust. It pours a slightly hazy copper-orange color with a creamy white head that retains well; it leaves a thick puffy ring with a creamy island and a decent, messy lace along the glass. Great balance between medium high levels of sweet and bitter. The texture is creamy on the palate with a body towards the higher end of medium. The carbonation is a touch effervescent or fizzy, but overall, soft. There’s a very pronounced grapefruit tartness up front, but it mellows quickly after the first few sips. It finishes with a zesty combination of lemongrass, caramel, and stonefruit. The aftertaste is primarily sweet, overripe tangerines and it’s peel with a tart grapefruit bitter lingering in the mouth. Overall very refreshing, straddles the line between IPA and APA.

12 oz bottle. Thanks Tim! The pour is a clear amberish gold with a decent white head and some phenomenal lacing. The aroma is huge on a mild hoppiness and a great piney resin and beautifully done hop profile. The flavor is huge on the hops and delightful on the resin with a great light skunkiness. The mouth feel is just great. There is a light body and a medium carbonation and a lingering piney bitter hoppy aftertaste. Pretty damn good

Gneh!
