4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz into Duvel tulip. Once again Tewaris is the man for sharing this with me.
Light amber, hearty pour leads to generous white head. Aroma is really floral, fruity. Sweet, and smooth, quite malty body, bitter from start to finish, pretty nice beer.

Bottle. Poured into a snifter. Citra hop aroma of guava, passion fruit, apricot and honeydew melon. It’s resinous with some biscuit, toasted malts and pine needles in there too. Medium bodied and chewy. There is bitterness in the flavour before avocado, grapefruit, biscuit, cookie dough and black tea. The finish is long and bitter with tropical fruit, especially guava and mango. Thank you Brandon for the bottle!

4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
12oz bottle, no date, poured into a Surly pint glass.
Pours a dark honey-gold, with a frothy white head on top. Great sticky lace holds on for dear life. "The nose, the nose, my kingdom for the nose." All things holy, this is an amazing aroma. Fresh hops, pine needles, citrus zest, and a dry hay-like aroma. Other beers have bits and pieces of this aroma, but this is so potent and so fresh. Frick. I want to "cologne-up" with this stuff.
The body is well-balanced and carbed up well. Crisp and clean, not too heavy. Holds its own with the ABV. Hops, hops, hops. Yes, please. Fresh green hops, grapefruit, melon, orange slices, honey - all melded perfectly to make this splendid beer. This beer is bitter, no doubt, but I love that it doesn’t linger in any harsh manner. The finish is short, which I like and don’t like at the same time. I like that it keeps me sipping (or gulping) more and more, but I don’t like that my glass is soon empty, unable to be filled with this blessed brew again. More ZD, please!!!

Nice piney aroma. A very unique flavor with a nice hops balance and a subtle aftertaste.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a lightly cloudy orange with about half a finger of stark white slowly dissipating head. Odor is of sweet hops with a hint of orange. Taste is surprisingly sweet, with a strong caramel flavor that fades into a mild hop bitterness. Not as hoppy as I’d expect, but it’s very tasty.

Bottle-huge thanks to Daknole for sharing this lovely pale ale while passing through Phoenix-June 2012-pours lite orange with a small soapy white head. huge floral hoppy nose lite lemons and other bright citrus. flavors are very fruity, candy like almost in a sense. i smell a touch, and i mean a touch of diacytl here. Hmm, this is a very good pale ale however, there are better out there. this beer is a wallop of citrus! however, if the diacytl wasnt in the nose, i would be all about this. Probably the best beer i have had from FFF in many years however, still falls a bit short and somewhat over-hyped. I was expecting a home run here.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Received in a pint glass from cask. Clear orange amber with a 1/2 inch on foam. No visible carbonation. It this is a cask pour.
Smell is nice grapefruit and hops.
Taste is nice balanced hops up front. A little sweetness then malt with a bitter finish.
Mouthfeel is not overly light, nice. Cask pour has minimal carbonation.
Overall an excellent beer. Hops are very aromatic but not overwhelming in the taste. Very well balanced and easy to drink.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
bottle, from Dave at Tyler’s Apex. good aroma, sweet, fruity, orange, apricot, peach. toffee, cereal malt. orangy gold color, good head and lace. sweet bitter flavor. medium body, creamy mouthfeel, bitter dry finish. Good beer. Nice fruity aroma, good sweet bitter mix on the flavor, flavor took on more of a grapefruit than orange that I found in aroma. solid APA and another reason to like Citra....

El citra en estado puro, Quizá de los aromas más intensos a lúpulo con los que me he topado, mantiene el IBU de una pale ale con ligeras notas a malta en sabor. Mango, Melocotón, Cítricos. Increible
