4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On-tap at the Brewpub into imperial nonic.
A - Pours a hazy golden yellow, white head, lots of sticky lacing, thin filmy cap and a thin ring around the glass.
S - Huge citrus hops, slight floral note, solid bitterness, slight dank character.
T - Lots of delicious hops, not overly bitter, just right. An assault of citrus notes, orange peel, floral notes.
M - Light, crisp and refreshing, good carbonation.
O - An excellent beer, to say the least. Very refreshing and the hop character is wonderful. I love me some citra! A must-try at the Brewpub.

4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured from 12oz bottle to dimple mug:
Pours a nice, clear pear gold with a swelling finger of dense-ish white head. Consistent, slow lacing and average lacing.
The nose is truly divine... lush tropical fruits, mango, pineapple, heavy sweet syrup, nectarine, all sorts of citrus, bits of dank herb. Massive smelling beer.
The taste hosts a whole slew of similar notes, but not quite the same density that is achieved in the aroma. Certainly a whollop of citric hops. Tasty stuff.
The feel is a tad thin. Still immensely drinkable, especially given the insane level of hop dosage.
Great beer that I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to try.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle, courtesy of a friend in Holland. A lovely beer, a real experience to be able to taste. A cheesy malty aroma. Slightly cloudy pour with a little lacing. Fruity palate with that hint of Citra pushing through An excellent beer. Can't wait for the next one and wish it was more widely available.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle - courtesy of a very generous GandGKevin. Thanks Kevin! Hazed amber with a tall, fluffy white head. Juicy, luscious, hoppy aroma. Hops are dominant with of soft caramel and malt notes underneath. Big floral and citrus hops up front that overwhelm the palate but get a touch tamer as the bottle is consumed. Then tropical fruit notes, sweet malt, soft caramel, and light pine resins come through. Body is medium with a chewy overall feel and creamy carbonation. Lingering, but moderate, hop bitterness and oiliness. Ends with more floral hops, pine needles, citrus oils, tropical fruit notes, light caramel and malt. Damn tasty!

12oz bottle. Poured a slightly hazy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of floral, pine, citrus, grassy, and toasty. Tastes of grass, pine, floral citrus, with a touch of caramel. I could drink this one all day long and glad I have few bottles!

3.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Refrigerated 12 oz. bottle from queenholly poured into a snifter. Pours clear light orange with small slighty off-white head that dissapates quickly. Little lacing, medium body, low carbonation, and nice strong citrus hop aroma (hint of pine in the aroma). Taste is some citrus, some herbal, bone dry pine, and finishes a nice slightly dry bitter. Pretty good pale ale, but less pine is required to be one of my favorites.
