This pour is from a bottle, as pictured, purchased from the brewery, though I did have it on tap as well. Tap was, frankly, one of the best beers I’ve ever had. So simple and balanced, yet so well-done. Pours a clear golden orange. Smells of in-your-face citrus, some pineapple, orange. Taste is similar, but the hops are not in the forefront. Not blistering on the tongue, extremely well-balanced. Awesome beer.

Pours golden with a white head. Giant aroma of citrus hops, grapefruit, orange, lemon, pine, and grass. Excellent dry and hoppy kick in the taste. Includes pine, grapefruit, and lemon. Heavy pine aftertaste that stays with you. Lots here to remind me of an IPA, but much more smooth and refreshing to drink. A little on the sticky side when drinking, but very crisp with lively carbonation. This is really one to remember.

A pale huh? Killer. Sticky, resinous and beautifully hopped. Had on draft at the brewery. They are bottling this tomorrow, so..... I will return on my way back home to pick some up. I love FFF’s beers of course, but when they are able to hop up a session pale ale to this extent and make it taste this floral and good, I am just overwhelmed.

Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with a creamy off-white head and good lacing. Citrus and hops with notes of grapefruit. Good flavor with the slightest hint of malt in the finish. Medium bodied. I actually like Alpha King better, but this is a fine beer.

On-tap at the Brewpub into imperial nonic. A - Pours a hazy golden yellow, white head, lots of sticky lacing, thin filmy cap and a thin ring around the glass. S - Huge citrus hops, slight floral note, solid bitterness, slight dank character. T - Lots of delicious hops, not overly bitter, just right. An assault of citrus notes, orange peel, floral notes. M - Light, crisp and refreshing, good carbonation. O - An excellent beer, to say the least. Very refreshing and the hop character is wonderful. I love me some citra! A must-try at the Brewpub.

Poured from 12oz bottle to dimple mug: Pours a nice, clear pear gold with a swelling finger of dense-ish white head. Consistent, slow lacing and average lacing. The nose is truly divine... lush tropical fruits, mango, pineapple, heavy sweet syrup, nectarine, all sorts of citrus, bits of dank herb. Massive smelling beer. The taste hosts a whole slew of similar notes, but not quite the same density that is achieved in the aroma. Certainly a whollop of citric hops. Tasty stuff. The feel is a tad thin. Still immensely drinkable, especially given the insane level of hop dosage. Great beer that I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to try.

Found on tap at Firkin. Light golden color with a very citrusy aroma, slight hint of grapefruit. Heavy on hops, light on citrus flavor with a bit of bitter.

From the tap poured a straw color with a fair amount of head. Refreshing citrusy hoppy flavor with a quick finish.

Bottle, courtesy of a friend in Holland. A lovely beer, a real experience to be able to taste. A cheesy malty aroma. Slightly cloudy pour with a little lacing. Fruity palate with that hint of Citra pushing through An excellent beer. Can't wait for the next one and wish it was more widely available. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
