12oz shared by MartinT.
Appearance : Clear amber with medium foamy head. Lots of lacing.
Aroma : Big malt with big citrusy hops. Floral and fresh. Sweetish citrusy notes like in a lemon pie.
Taste : Big citrusy hops with big floral notes. Nice malt again. Finish is very citrusy and fairly lasting. Again that sweetish citrusy feeling. Not very resinous.
Overall : Very nice. A bit linear maybe because there seems to be only citra in there. The finish is mainly citrusy which is tasty but not as rich and deep as most of the top APA. Very drinkable and very well made. I’d drink this often if I could.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Thanks to wimperoo for this. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a small white top that ends as a rim around the glass. Aroma is intense citrus hops and grapefruit. Taste is again loads of grapefruit and citrus hops as the citra stands out as there is no doubt what style this beer represents. Awesome, I only wish I lived closer to 3 Floyds.

A murky orange appearance. Aroma is very citrusy and pleasant. The taste is mild upfront and last a little while through the back. Enjoyable pale ale for sure. Lasts a little too long with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Really citrusy smell here. Love the aroma. Grapefruit and just a little bit of pineapple in there. Really crisp sweet and dry taste, almost champagne-esque. Really nice beer and hope to get some more in the near future.

Nice pale ale. Clear orange pour. 1" soft head and good lacing. Aroma of citrus (mostly grapefruit). Good mouthfeel with a nice finishing bitterness. Citra hop is outstanding.

Wow. One of the best smelling beers if not the best I’ve ever smelled! The best APA I have had. Give it up for Three Floyds, man what an awesome brewery! Bought a six pack at the brewery and did a tour. I definitely understand why its one of the best breweries on the planet! Been looking forward to trying this beer for a while and it absolutely lived up to the hype!
