5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20 hollardustin (325) - Indiana, USA - OCT 16, 2011
Pours hazy golden with a medium fluffy white head. Aroma is a hop bomb with citrus, grapefruit, orange, tangerine, and tropical fruit....just smells awesome! Taste is fruity and citrus hops all the way. This is absolutely delicious and at 6.2%, I could drink this all day.

a couple bottles courtesy of bauermj, thanks man! definitely a fine pale ale, no doubt. has a malt profile that reminds me of blind pig and pliny, the hops are big and blanced, bitter and sweet, drinks very well. great finish with the hops transitioning into the light cereal like malts. your basic citrus, tropical and a hint of red berries. delicious.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Butters (3321) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - OCT 13, 2011
Sampled on cask at the map room in Chicago. Very good. Clean and mellow citrus hop aromas and flavors. Green and fresh and delicious.

Bottle:   Golden colored, a little dull and hazy, nice white frothy head, sticky lacing.   Fairly assertive hop nose.   Also noticing some candyish fruity notes as well.   Oh wow, thats a nice juicy hop flavor right up front.   Bitter but not harsh.   Decent malt sweetness, a bit citrusy, otherwise some pale fruit too.   Wow, this is amazingly clean and tasty!   Robust Pale in that its hoppy but not overly bitter.   Nice malt base, right amount of citrus/fruity sweetness to balance it out.   This was a real treat!   Thanks Diego for this freebie!

sample at GABF on 10/1/11. very excited to try this one and wow is it a hop bomb! deep golden pour with a small white head. big citrus / dank hop nose. aggressive bitterness throughout the body. dry bitter finish.

bottle. fantastic. pours a hazy amber with minimal head. aroma of big florals, tropical fruits, and fresh citra heaven. huge and impressive for an american pale. flavor is much of the same...very floral with just a touch of subtle sweetness and mild bitterness in the finish. great
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 kseecs16 (1158) - Naperville, Illinois, USA - OCT 9, 2011
Pours a rich golden amber with a creamy off-white head that leaves a sleeve of lacing. Orangey piney hop aroma. Fairly mild overall but with a nice hop forward flavor which is resinous with a citrus and floral character.
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Damico (1917) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 6, 2011
Pours a little darker golden than a normal pale ale with a decent white head - really nice. The aroma is excellent - some cat piss and funky hop going on there with the juicy grapefruit notes from the citra. Best pale ale aroma ever! The flavor is strong juicy hops on a light typical pale ale body with some smooth bitterness to help settle on the palate.
