UPDATED: FEB 15, 2013 Opposite from the Dreadnaught, the aroma is this beer is really weak. It looks like a deep golden cloudy ale with white head. Once again, compared to the Dreadnaught it delivers great flavor. The hops flavor starts of a little savory, earthy, and oniony but gives way to a tropical fruit flavor, like mango, or star fruit. Itís really good!

Bottle @ Home, courtesy of Jeff, Thanks! Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, rich fruity hops, peach, grapefruit. Flavor of malt, loads of nice fruity hops, peach, grapefruit, light pine. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, lasting bitter finish. Pure awesomeness. 300113

Thanks to Aaron for sharing this fantastic beer. Pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Nice lacing on the sides of my 3 Floyds teku glass. Aromas are all citra. Mango, grapefruit, orange, and some subtle grassy notes. Medium body with a dry finish. Very drinkable. Awesome brew!

Huge thanks to Josh up at Sweet Grass Dairy. Gold pour with a creamy white head that laces. Huge citrus, pineapple, mangos and peaches with a hint of malt backing on the nose. Flavor is clean, crisp and bright tropical hoppiness throughout with a long bitter end. Having had this side by side with Pliny the Elder it essentially exhibits the same hop profile and flavor only with not as much body. Fantastic Beer.

UPDATED: JAN 28, 2013 12oz bottle poured into a snifter glass. Pours a hazy copper color with a small white head. Aroma is amazing! Hops, citrus, pineapple, grapefruit, and malts. Very earthy and mouth watering. Taste is fresh hops, grapefruit, citrus, slightly malty. Full body with a creamy texture and moderate carbonation. This is on a whole different level than any other pale ale out there, its almost unfair. Above and beyond all the hype. Now I understand why beer stores cant keep this in stock. If you can find this, BUY IT!!!

Pours a clear golden color with a white, finger sized head and is slightly lively. Grapefruit, pineapple, and mango on the nose, just awesome. Very bitter, and enough maltiness to somewhat balance it. That sentence may have sounded somewhat like I wasnít saying it is satisfying, but donít get that impression. This beer is slightly sticky, and the bitterness is what gets left behind. This beer is awesome, but FFF should stop keeping this beer so limited.

Got this in a trade with a co-worker. This beer is very well done. Beautiful amber sunset color with a head that laces nicely. The hop florals are forward, but balanced well by malty stickiness. A fantastic pale ale and beer overall. Cheers to 3Floyds!

UPDATED: SEP 7, 2013 This one is a pale yellow orange if you actually pour it outside the kickass bottle. Itís got a rough underlying bitterness, I guess if it was smooth and crisp they wouldnít call it something like Zombie Dust. Overall very good and even good value at $9.50 for 6. Also I guess if you see it on the shelves, better grab it. The two places Iíve bought it, the cashiers mentioned "I canít keep this stuff on the shelves" and "people go ape-shit over this stuff, man", and then sure enough it was not there the next time.

Bottle, bought @ Mikkeller Bar, Cph. Pours hazy deep orange with a medium, staying, creamy, white head. Aroma has fresh flowers, peach, orange peel, grapefruit, resin. Very fresh. Lowish carbonation, fine dry and creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is splendidly balanced, peach, oranges, fat and resiny. Medium bitterness, but still firm. A true session beer. Wonderful.
