From Johnís stash. Pours reddish copper with a uniform beige head that gradually melts away. The aroma is slightly sweet biscuit and citrus. There is a rich pale malt flavor with a sticky citrus finish. Slightly unbalanced toward citra hop, as it should be. I could drink a lot of this.

Wow, it may be impossible to put words together to describe this beer. Hoppy with massive citrus flavors, but superbly drinkable. It pours yellow with a great white head. The palate is assaulted by the flavors of "C" hops with very slight malts. Overall this is the Pale Ale to judge all others against. I think I have a challenger in a local Pale Ale but this is seriously good.

UPDATED: MAR 13, 2015 Unclear Deep orange amber. Large fluffy white head, good lace. Aroma is loaded with hops, citrus, super aromatic. Medium body, sweet, pleasant bitterness. Lasting bitter hops finish with quite a bit of drying. Flavor is loaded with hops - citrus.

Drank before Walking Dead season finale! super aromatic, I could smell it a foot away. Lots of hops and citrus. Larger than life white head. Taste is very smooth. Citrus and hops. Medium body. Starts very light and citrus. Moves to a hoppy, deeper taste. Dries off a little at the end, but not too much.

On tap at Hopleaf, Chicago. Sweet and very resinous, well balanced, abv well masked, a touch of honey, bitter of course. Very good APA.

Pours a clear, deep golden color with no head. Head never developed as a consequence of the care taken in the pour by the attendant. Incidentally, it was nice to see that the 3 Floyds staff were just as cheerful as ever *sarcasm*. Even as guests of Firestone-Walker after having been invited to their beer festival, the 3 Floyds staff were lifeless, provided no information about their beers, and couldnít even muster a smile or spare a "youíre welcome." Anyway, back to Zombie Dust. The beer has a glorious floral bouquet with just a hint of peat. The mouthfeel, which enjoys a decent balance of carbonation, is good for the style. The flavor is grapefruit forward with notes of peat. A good effort.

Pours a clear golden orange from the bottle with thin off-white film of head and light lacing. Aroma is all kinds of fresh citra hops, citrus and tropical fruits. Taste follows, a quick bitter finish that makes it one of the easiest drinking beers. Very flavorful for the abv, great stuff.

Bottle. Hazy orange liquid with medium tan head. Aroma of fresh hops, pineapple, weed, biscuit, mango, pine, spruce, grape fruit and floral hops. Taste is dry and medium bitter with notes of pineapple, marmalade, biscuit, light caramel and mango. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Very balanced and complex, also very hoppy.

Location/Date:Draft on March 27th, 2013 at Churchkey.

Appearance: Pours a clear orange.
Aroma: Aroma of light citrus, pine
Taste: Medium high bitterness for the style, but not so much that itís not enjoyable. Light orange.
Palate:Medium light body, lingering hop aftertaste.

Summary: A really good APA that Iíve been wanting to try for awhile. This one is always on the front of RB and well deserved, although I donít think itís THAT different than Alpha King which is always available.
