Smell is like a pure hop package, very fruity and flowery. Taste is lemon and mango. A little bitter in the middle.

Thanks to whoever randomly handed this over at the Surly Tap takeover. Comes together extremely well. Pours cloudy orange with good head and lacing. Finishes with medium bitter finish. Nice floral-tasting hops in here. Bottle I assume.

Bottle received in trade (thanks Bruce!) - Very hoppy aroma right from the opening of the bottle. Nice copper color and a generous head. Lots of grapefruit in this one. Nice texture and medium dry. Some might consider this a blasphemous statement but this beer and Alaskan Freeride seem very similar to me.

Bottle poured into tulip glass. Zombie Dust never fails to disappoint. This beer pours golden with an appetizing haze. The aroma hits you with a burst of fresh cut grass and chopped fruits. The mouthfeel is satisfyingly medium bodied with a lively fizz and a depth of taste that awakens your tongue. There is a je ne sais quoi here - something that drives both hopheads and casual beer drinkers alike to go wild over this beer. I think it has something to do with the bold but not overpowering hopping and the incredible gush of tropical fruit that sets this apart. There are many beers with a similar feel but this is very highly rated and for good reason.

On tap at Out of the Park Pizza in Anaheim. Crisp, clean grassy hop nose with lemon zest, light pine, dry hay and a bit of grapefruit. Pours the color of clear light yellow honey. Super clean taste of pine resin, very bitter hops and touch of sweet lemon and light spices. Very dry finish. A deliciously clean and refreshing pale ale through and through.

Only Three Floyds could place an American Pale Ale at the top of Ratebeer. Not only in its pale ale class, but overall against IPAs, stouts and porters. This beer is a must for beer enthusiasts. Pours a clear amber. A clean, flavorful beer. Highly recommended.

On tap at Cobblestone. A cloudy, dark golden poor. Piney aroma. Some sweetness coming through underneath, but the bitter leads. Sharp carbonation. A little lingering bitterness. Another very good 3F beer!

IMO, this is the perfect representative example of the type. Buy as much as you can fresh and drink it all.
