12oz bottle fresh from brewery poured into a mason jar. Nice two finger, white head and golden, amber straw color. Smell is mouth watering hops including notes of tropical fruit, grass & sweet pine. Taste is similar with a little malt and nice body that’s well carbonated. Flavorful, long lasting hops on the palate long after swallowing. I wouldn’t mention it in most reviews, but the beer has great lacing too. Highly drinkable & one of my favorite Three Floyds beers.

Citrus and pine. West coast like alcohol not prevalent like alpha king. Nice bitter finish.

One of my favorite beers. A good hoppy pale ale but also has citrusy flavors that finish it perfectly. I have friends who will drive to another state for this beer . ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

It’s tasty with a unique after taste. Smells a little better than taste though. All together very good.

From bottle into a snifter, this beer has an amazing nose, so floral. Also has a great palate to it, dry finish with a little stickiness. I know I'm in the minority, but as far as Chicago IPAs go, I prefer anti hero from revolution. That being said, they're both incredible beers, and choosing between both is a good problem to have! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a very light gold with a fluffy white head. For a single hop brew, the nose is fantastic. Lots of hops with huge citrus coming through. Not too over the top in bitterness. Has a caramel malt backing that goes well with the Citra hops. Tremendous beer

12 oz bottle. Tasted on 4/7/15. Bottle courtesy of Joe. Aroma was juicy full of hops. The taste was great with tons of citrus, hops upfront with just enough malt to balance it out. Extremely smooth & messy to drink... Great beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Lives up to the hype. Hazy orange color. Great citrusy hop forward flavor. Very clean finish. Great pale ale! Wish it was easier to find.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden amber. Fluffy white head and big lacing. Nose is big citrus and pineapple. Taste is tropical and pine. Dry aftertaste. Great.

12 oz Bottle. Appearance is slightly hazy, orange color with medium, off-white head. Aroma is heavy citrus with notes of orange sweetness, grapefruit, and mango. Taste is well-balanced with nice moderate sweetness overlaid with a smooth citra hop bitterness. Some resinous piney notes also present. Palate is light- to medium-bodied, slightly thin texture, light but lively carbonation, and a dry finish. I was a little disappointed at first but the complexity came out as the beer warmed up. Well-crafted brew.
