Soft finish on a stellar beer. Took me a while to hunt it down but well worth the wait.

From tap. Hazy yellow golden color with white to off white head. Aroma is heavy hoppy, citrusy fruity, grapefruit, orange, grassy, pine, light caramel malty. Light sweet and heavy bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

From a bottle. Great hop aroma, citrus, pine. Intense hop flavor, malt is there but behind the hops. Full flavor. Excellent flavor and aroma for a pale ale.

Pours a slightly hazed sunyellow color, with a big, stable head. Smells of sublime bitter, fruity lemon zest with balancing, white-bread malts to it. Citrus got a flowery, inviting note to it, enhancing the beers juicy, ripe lime pulp impression. Drinks outstandingly easy, with a medium, soft carbonation to it, resulting into a very pleasant, citrus forward pale ale. Tastes of citrus peel from the very beginning, while the malts provide a fantastic soft mouthfeel, exhibiting a hint of honey, as well as juicy lime. Also yields a soft minerality, creating a very clean and crisp hop profile, showcasing the pungent exotic fruit perfectly. Finishes with biscuity malts among an aqueous softness and pleasantly metallic carbonation, together with a well weaved in citrus hoppiness, which shines during the very end of tasting the beer. While its hoppiness provides a pleasant assault on the tongue it is perfectly integrated and balanced by all other ingredients of the beer. This creates a great softness on the palate, resulting in an outstandingly easy drinking beer, for which you donít necessary need to be a hophead, more of a beer which convinces you to be one.

On tap at Jakeís in Chicago in Lincoln Park area. Pint glass. Orange golden in color with good lacing and frothy head. Hops are at the forefront of the aroma. Taste is very solid with a balanced hop undertone and good sweetness. Easy to drink while still bringing a good alcohol level to the table. Mouthfeel is soft but with a hop bite at the end. Definitely worth drinking again. Name sounds like a hit song in the 70ís and Iím up for another listen.

Tap at Jakes in Chicago. Light orange with small white head. Really nice clean hop nose. Some grapefruit. Full in body. Really well balanced. Hops not overwhelming. Really nice mouthfeel. Well done beer.

Hamei fructat și note de pin și vanilie - are de toate dar sunt slabe. V‚rstă? E smooth. Foarte bine, dar nu ieșit din comun.

Bottle to snifter. Yellow-gold with lasting head. Nose of colorful lemon & grapefruit, juiciness, gentle pine. Extremely well-balanced flavor, clean finishing, lemony, bright citrus, subtle floral pine. Very appreciative of the clean finish on such a hop-forward ale. However, I would expect more vibrant flavor from a 100-rated brew. Still awesome. Midwest, get it while itís hot. Itís making its rounds in the shops right now.
