UPDATED: OCT 14, 2014 Bottle from Mikkeller Webshop.
Amber, moderate hazy body, with a big, creamy, lacing, white head.
Wonderful aroma of citrus, passion fruit, peach, candy, some pine.
The taste...What a taste!! Lemon peel, peach, passion fruit, pine, some biscuit, some candy sweetness, super crisp, super fresh, perfect!
Mouthfeel is medium, slick, with a medium carbonation and it finishes smooth, medium bitter, dry, with citrus and slight pine notes.

Amazing stuff! Spotlessly clean, fresh like spring and with an almost unbelievable balance of aroma and drinkability, complexity and crispness! The ratings are just true, there is no better APA at all and Iím not even sure if there is an IPA that keeps up with this for me. The first beer that I gave a 10 for taste, citra hop orgasm!!

Brought back to New England by a friend. Not a great nose but a fantastic finish.

Pours cloudy amber with thin white head and persistent lacing. Aroma is definitely citra with ample sweet malt. This beer is just delicious, one of the best single hop pale ales!

Hazy amber/orange color; Medium slight creamy body; Aroma of fresh floral hops, citrus, & pine; Flavor of slight sweet malt, caramel, pine hops, floral, some fruit, and rich citrus; Finish is dry & bitter; Nicely balanced; Incredible APA.

Look - Dark gold almost orange with bright white head. Good lacing. Smell - This has a great smell for a low IBU / ABV pale ale. Bready and dank. Taste - A great taste for what it is. Bread hits first and dank hops mellow out to the finish. Feel - There is no sting on the tongue. It feels like soft water. Overall - Why drink an imperial or double when you can get the taste from this pale ale? I really canít believe I only bought a 6 pack of this at the brewery.

From bottle to pint. This beer pours with a delicate head. One of the most beautiful floral bouquets I have smelled. Citrus, violets, mango, pine....the good stuff. The flavor doesnt quite match the aromas, but still absolutely delicious. Apricots, mangoes and spruce on the palate. The mouth feel is very good. Nice weight to this beer. Hoppy but not overly so. One of the best beers around. If you see it on a shelf buy it and enjoy, or get ahold of me. Ill take it off your hands. Cheers!

Bottle share at Dominion Wine and Beer. Hazy orange-gold with small white head. Loads of citrus hops with some resiny pine coming through on the tail, along with a malt base. Fantastic.

Citrus and pine. West coast like alcohol not prevalent like alpha king. Nice bitter finish.

One of my favorite beers. A good hoppy pale ale but also has citrusy flavors that finish it perfectly. I have friends who will drive to another state for this beer . ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
