12 oz. bottle poured into a New Belgium glass. A moderately aggressive pour yielded a dark, golden brew with a 2-inch white head which lasted. Lacing was spotty but lasted throughout. The nose was the resinous and the lemony, hop-centered smell you would expect from the citra. The taste was dry, lemon, orange and mango, grassiness, pine but there were tones of some nice malt notes and grain as well. I loved the healthy carbonation and some nice bitterness at the back end. The mouthfeel was medium to light. What a wonderful surprise this beer was. I just wish I could get more!

On tap at Hopleaf (Chicago, IL). Slightly hazy, golden body with a lasting white foamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with citrusy and piney hints. Its sharp, well balanced hoppy taste carries citrusy, malty, herbal, and piney hints. Ends with a long bitter finish. Awesome!

Fantastic in all ways. This beer is smooth with juicy hops through the first sip to the last ... great beer and does not have a harsh bitterness.

I am not a huge fan of APA but this is the best one I have had so far. Definitely recommend it.

Nice balanced hoppy beer. I enjoyed that it wasn’t too resinous tasting, sometimes those flavors can destroy my palate. Drank it during dusk at an old haunted stone building on the lake. No zombies were witnessed.

Appearance and nose out shine the flavor, a bit funky in the mouth but not bad. Just don’t quite get the 100 score.

Pours hazy orange with a thick long lasting head. Initial aroma of bold orange and pine hops. But the initial taste is actually more mellow than expected. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Draught sample at CBC 2015. Slightly hazy amber-golden colour with a small, white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, spruce, floral hops, pale and caramel malts. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes lasting dry and bitter with citrus fruits, oranges and sweet exotic fruits. Truly a benchmark APA.

Pours hazy orange with a white head. The aroma has pineapple, cream, lime, some fruit, caramel and heavy dank notes. It has a medium fairly smooth body with fairly soft carbonation. The flavor starts with dry bread, pine, grapefruit, pineapple and woody hops. The finish has caramel, resin and citrus zest. Great IPA.

3F beers are always sought after and Zombie Dust is one of those illusive ones. It is often gone before you even know it is for sale or had been tapped. It is a crisp and citrusy single hopped pale ale. I don’t really buy into all of the hype nor do I believe it is a 100 point beer but it sure is awfully damn good. If you get the chance to sample some, I would highly suggest. I think besides Dreadnaught, it is 3F’s best beer.
