Pours a brownish/orange color. Smell is of tropical fruits, hops. Taste is great, hops, fruits, a malt balance, a touch of bitterness. Overall this is a top notch beer worth seeking out.

Fresh from a newly bottled batch this beer has wonderful citrus with an earthy quality. Dry finish which leaves hops on the pallate. Wonderful malt back bone. I've had bottled examples that didn't seem to hold up like the beer I had at the pub. The fresh bottle was wonderful. Straight up. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I had to go to Mikkeller Bar in Copenhagen to find this beer! Couldn’t get any last time I was in the states, seems like it should be called hens teeth its so rare! Perhaps, I was expecting a religious experience based on the ratings here. It was good, very good, but it had such strong competition in that bar that it needs frther testing for sure. It smells just heavenly, probably one of the most enticing aromas of any beer. Worth the wait? Perhaps.

What else can be said about this amazing beer. I am thankful to live in the Chicagoland area where I have regular access to Three Floyds beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I'm a bit spoiled in that being from the region I've enjoyed this beer pretty much on demand for years now. But I'm actually rating it after drinking from my trading stock while in Oregon and was motivated to do so after trying some great Northwest style IPAs. Zombie has great amber color, the aroma is this sexy BO thing, the Citra hop is perfectly balanced and the finish lingers leaving you wanting more. Truly a world class pale ale (it's really an IPA), distinctive and drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg at Munich Tap House, 23rd July 14. Very solid APA, full hp flavour, lots of citrus. Nice and easy drinking. Great stuff

Bottle: First off, let’s be honest. This is not a pale ale. It’s a friggin IPA. Gold color with a nice head and super hoppy in flavor as well as finish. What was nice is that even though it was dominant in hops in the finish it wasn’t blunt bitterness. You could taste the hop characteristics as well.

Draft at Taste the Rarity Oh man, the line was longest for this, but I went back for it 3 times I liked it so much. Tied for best of the day for me with the Union Gose. Pours a hazy orange with a pretty white head. Hay, peaches, and of course grapefruit in the aroma. Imminently drinkable, well balanced tending towards the drier side, clean and balanced. Wonderful APA

If I were about to become a zombie I would kindly ask the zombie about to convert me (eat a healthy but convertible amount) to kindly pause and allow me one last taste of the human world. This might be my choice. Full bouquet aroma and after-taste coupled with a perfect citra taste to the tongue. Perfect hoppiness. Cask tap at Fountainhead in Chicago. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap @ Piece with the Duke. Pours a dark clear gold with a lasting off white head, nice lacing. Aroma of pink starburst, guava, mango, tangerine, oozy pine sap, grass. Flavor is sweet tangerine and tropical fruits up front, morphs to bready malt into a piney finish. Balance here is impeccable, perfect execution of the style. Light/Med mouthfeel, tickly carbo. If zombie dust tastes this good, I'm hoping for the apocalypse.

This beer definitely seperates itself from the pack in being so nicely balanced in hops, brightly floral, crisp, and showcasing a very distinct hop note without booziness or too much complexity. Very drinkable and enjoyable during this season, but could use a little more hop complexity for my taste. Overall very nice.
