3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Clear amber body. Frothy, off-white head. Aroma of toasted grain, light pine, grapefruit. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Caramel and hops in the flavor. A bit more bitter than amber ales, but not a big hop display that’s promised.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This was a pleasant surprise. Very hoppy nose, citrus notes dominate, particularly grapefruit. Orange/red appearance, dark thick head with much retention. Beautifully balanced hop / malt. Takes amber to a new level. Oats add body and a bit of sweetness. This one is going to get a regular spot in my fridge.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22oz bottle from Beers of the World in Henrietta. Pours a deep red with a nice head of soapy white bubbles. Aroma is plenty hoppy and with some caramel sweetness. The flavors are very well blended - the oatmeal helps develop the body nicely. Incredibly easy to drink.

March 2013 from bottle. My first beer from this brewer and not disappointing at all. Amber color with a white head. Caramel aromas with spice, fruit and malt. Good hop balance and a smooth finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber from Wegman’s college ville. Pours reddish copper with some light coming through, a medium sized off white head, medium lacing. The aroma is certainly hoppy. There is a good bit of floral notes, medium pine, tropical fruit, a little sweetness. The taste has a nice hop punch at the front of the tongue that gives way to some caramel malt, a little rye, a little citrus. A solid offering.. and a bit dry, honestly.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Great beer that is almost an imperial red but the oatmeal cuts it down. High malt and hopping leaves this one as pretty chewy but the flavors are spot on for a big amber.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
355 mL bottle. Artwork is very typical for upstate New York. Nice copper colour with a small head. Some drowsiness to the hopping, which seems otherwise American. The flavour is quite mild, with very little malt presence to go with the hops. I’d expect the oatmeal to add a little more to the body. Nice bitterness. Okay amber.
