WE LOVE HOPS! Their tantalizing aromas. Their diverse and succulent flavors of citrus and spice. All the amazing ways they can be used in brewing. 3HB dedicates the Loopy to our favorite plant, the Humulus Lupulus. Enjoy the waves of tropical fruit intertwined delightfully with a creamy, velvety malt blend. Come get Loopy with us!

Pours a dark amber with a mahogany tone and a little bit of a buff head. Aroma has a strong overtone of evergreen hops, more like an IPA, with subtle fruity and malty notes. Hoppy flavor is not too fierce, not bitter, but still evergreen and malty and a little fruity. Texture is smooth and fairly fizzy. Get loopy - but not too loopy!

Bomber to a pint glass. Pours copper to scarlet. Limited, soapy head. Lot of hops on the nose, with some citrus. Not sure where the oatmeal comes in, and not quite sure how this is an "Amber Ale". I’d call it a red IPA, and a pretty good one.

Pours an amber with a white head. Heavy pine aroma, along with apple, apricot, caramel, and a bit of grapefruit. Taste is big in apple, while caramel is more pronounced. Lots of pine and very grassy. Somewhat sour also. Good hoppy kick that is quite unexpected for this style. I actually an impression that this is more similar to an IPA instead of an amber. Piney aftertaste. Sticky feel when drinking with good carbonation. This one is a little more unusual and very enjoyable. I’m very happy that I tried this.

650 mL bottle purchased from Leary’s for $7.55. To snifter it pours a hazy, sandy chestnut with a hugely eruptive yellowish head two to three fingers in length. Has aromas of cornmeal, tapioca, yucca root, oatmeal, red liquorice, filament tape, clam juice, hops, autumnal leaves, and golden raisins. Tastes malty and and pleasantly bittersweet: has hints of oats and browned sugar on the forefront. Shortbread and bong water by swallow. Another hop-forward beer wherein gains its evident influence from the sativa hits at parties we never got to go to as a kid. Nicely done, I’m impressed.

Citrus fruit, especially lemon, mango, lemon grass, and subtle pineapple aromas. Clear orange-bronze with a minimal, off-white head. Bitter, dry, and nutty. Medium bodied with lively carbonation and a clean and very hoppy but balanced finish.
